The occult arts have drawn people from various paths in life since before it was even termed the Occult. In times before, resources on the occult were rare and hard to obtain, if possible to attain at all. Open conversation about the topics that lie herein were just as difficult. It is nothing short of miraculous to live in an age where this sort of discussion can take place between practitioners from across the planet with a few clicks of a keyboard, and an asset that should not be lightly taken for granted.
We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to exactly this; the free exchange of ideas between both the serious and casual practitioners of these arts. Whether you call yourself Psychic, Wiccan, Shaman, Chaote, Hermeticist, Mystic, Scholar, Researcher, or simply a Dabbler, you stand to gain much here.
The only bounds on free discussion are to help promote it. We at OccultForum.org realize that the occult community is itself as diverse as the rest of the world, and disagreements are inevitable. While the debate of subjects is allowed (and in fact encouraged), disrespecting fellow members is not. For detailed information, please refer to our acceptable use policy.
Apart from creating a medium for open discussion, we also hope to do our part to help remedy a trend in the lethargy of the occult community as a whole. To this end, we hope to have a number of group projects up and running in their near future, for the dual purposes of objective experimentation in the occult arts, as well as simply aiding fellow members in their own pursuits. Involvement in these projects will be completely voluntary, and are in no way required for the use of this forum.
