Re: Worry Beads
Those are great! I have a wrist japa mala (it has 27 beads, so 4 rounds = 1 round of 108 normal japa) that I use for chanting, and then I have several full-length malas and a bunch of beaded gemstone bracelets that I will just fidget with. I'll choose a gemstone that I want the qualities of for that...

Re: Gaudiya Vaishnava
That's really interesting. I'm not very familiar with Lam. But I also had a kundalini activation through a dream. It was just before I found the Bhagavad-Gita, like a couple of months before, and I had a dream where I met the three Norns by a river. One had reddish hair, one chestnut, and one golden...

Re: Happy Fiery new year :)
Hi Amon! I'm new on the forum too. I haven't been to Japan yet, but I'm looking forward to visiting (and getting Sailor Moon everything!) I second the suggestion of Kelly-Ann Maddox. She is amazing. She's probably swamped with readings, but I'm sure she'll get back to you. I'm reading Phil Hine's Co...

Hi!
I really thought I'd posted something here, but I guess not. So, hello! I'll keep it short. I'm new to the forum but not to the occult. The occult has been part of my life for all of my life. Spiritually, I'm coming from a Vedic background, culturally, I connect with the Celts. I consider myself a c...

Re: Gaudiya Vaishnava
Yeah, Sahajiya is basically the equivalent of "heretic" now. I've been called Sahajiya before. It sucks. Mostly because I haven't taken a guru, so I'm not considered "serious." When in truth, I take it so seriously that I'm not about to take on a guru just to cross it off my list...

Re: Gaudiya Vaishnava
I am a Hare Krishna who also practices magick. I came to Vaishnavism after graduate school when a Bhagavad-Gita literally jumped off a bookshelf at me - twice. Since it happened twice, I knew it wasn't an accident and I took it home and read it, and knew, "this is it, this is what I've been loo...
