Re: Spirituality based on Chaos, is it considered Lefthand P
The distinction I draw between left and right hand paths is thus: The left hand practitioner seeks individuality and uniqueness, the freedom to follow his own decisions and the burden that comes with it. On the other hand (no pun intended), the right hand path practitioner seeks to become one with ...

Re: Chaos Magick Tools
The only "tool" I use for my style of Chaos Magick, is a box of kosher salt. I draw up energy as I am thinking about what I want to happen, as I am doing this I use the salt to draw a sigil on the ground or table. Once I have pulled up as much energy as I can, I direct it all at the sigil ...

Re: Spirituality based on Chaos, is it considered Lefthand P
Just as you stated that light is an illusion, I would venture to say the distinction between a right and left handed path is also an illusion. Positives and negatives, truths and falsehoods, are part of of the biggest illusion of all, order. The whole idea of wrong and right, good and bad are merely...

Re: The brain as a computer - A proposal for the advanced.
hyperRitual, I would have to say that the brain is indeed a computer. It has different modules for different functions, temporary memory (RAM), Neurons (Buses) etc. In some cases of Savants unintentionally reprogram a part of the brain that has a traditional function being utilised in an entirely di...

Re: Your favorite, rare, or reccomended books.
Thank you Stukov, Your insight has me thinking anew. I wanted to list some of my favorites are the SEPHER YETZIRAH by A. Kaplan, and The SEPHER Ha BAHIR by A.Kaplan as well. Then there is Qabalah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic by Thomas Karlsson. Of course any work by A.O.Spare, Kenneth grant, Phil Hine,...

Re: Your favorite, rare, or reccomended books.
Stukov, I have The same book by G. Davidson, I bought it back in 1996. If you like angel mythology 'The Book of Enoch" by R.H. Charles is extremely interesting, where "scripture" is a dry well, it expounds on the Nephilim ("fallen" angels, Watchers) mentioned in Genesis 6:4,...

Your favorite, rare, or reccomended books.
Greetings! I am just curious. We seem to have every type of occultist there is in this forum and I would really like to know what your favorite, rare, or recommend books are in your collection, or even books you lust after. It may be I will hear about books I have never heard of, for instance it was...

Akimbomoss,
I know how you feel about Facebook. As Nahemah mentioned it is a good resource for occultist , a necessary evil if you will. I was astounded at how many Thelemite I found, and unlike my non occult friends they actually respond to me.
Kind regards, SolarFlea

I want to introduce myself to you all. I am a forty-two year old Male from North Carolina, but have lived all over the U.S.A. I was raised as a Southern Baptist Christian, and spent ten of twelve years in private Christian Schools. I only met my paternal father once on his deathbed, I was thirty yea...

SSormany,
Wow, my son loves that. He is studying to to become a Physicist. I am proud of him but he drives me insane with that music.

Afterlife?
I want to inquire , do you believe in an afterlife, an inherent "soul". I do not believe in reincarnation , or that a human has a sou,l or ethereal essence . I do not rule out the concept of a magickian forcing a continued non-corporeal existence. I find it highly unlikely, but anyone fami...

Re: Chaos Magick Quick and Dirty
Reptilian, This happened a very long time ago, and as I said I had not heard of Chaos Magick at the time. I think it was so effective because it was so primal, and I did not pause to even doubt it. I am at a point now where I am more concerned with improving my self. I am at heart very altruistic, b...

Re: Chaos Magick Quick and Dirty
Nahemah, I understand, I have been told compassion is a weakness by some, I do not accept that. I also realise it is foolish to think Magick can be any more "surgical" than any other type of action we take. I mean to say everything affects everything, we know this. To take the role of comp...
