I think ceremonies are needless and they're not practical. They can work but why spend so much time with them when much more practical spells work just as well or even better.

I think this depends totally on the person. You can use either, it's just a personal preference.

If you want to gain results as fast as possible, I would look for chaos magic. It's more practical than others and you can start practicing immediatly instead of reading whole books just to find out you still can't do anything.

It's not possible to body swap because most of what makes you "you" is actually stored in your brain, are rather is a part of your brain. So you'd have to swap those parts of your brain. Also you can't swap your whole brain because some parts wouldn't work with a different body.
