I was catching up on posts and noticed you, I was on here reading where you posted and spotted your reply.

Re: Hi, any of you from occultforums.com from 20 yrs ago?
I am, the last couple of posts seem confused and are discussing the .org, aka: this site. OF.com was the bollox, I learned so much there and met some wild, interesting and strange people there. I was Eretik thenabouts. So many subjects open to everyone, with a goldmine of info and practical knowledg...

Hi,
That sounds interesting, not two names I'd have thought of together. Is it any good though, Russell is always funny but is he saying anything sensible here?

Hi,
Yep, we’re never far from the history here. Good to meet you.
Is that near Cluny/ Pluscarden? I’ve been to the abbey and something is scratching in my mind about it.
I did go up the knock in Crieff and look out over towards Birman wood and Dunsinane years ago, but I’ve not been to Forres.

Re: Occult pop quiz
Can't upload the certificate, as something went wrong with the file type.
97% as I don't pay attention to tattvas, lol, but this quiz is very Golden Dawn/ Ceremonialist oriented, so it's no loss if you didn't score highly and don't practice from or haven't studied Western Mystery Traditions.

Ah. My advice?
Let go. Freeform, relax. Lose the ceremonial and connect to the emotional, you are a sharp magickian, but caught up in the form and the function. Let it ride, breathe and have some fun with it.
Takes time, but it's fun. [geek2]

Re: When am I not a beginner?
As Rin said, pretty much, dive in, make mistakes, enjoy the ride. Be your own master, beginner, magus..., whatever, they are only labels applied by others,in a power game of master and servant. Sadly, the way of the western world for far too long. Let it go. be the best you that can be. It is more t...

Rabbits are prey animals, how far does the wolf range?
Be your own master, not a servant of others, it goes as deep as you let it and as far as you are willing to go, but there are tarriffs and prices to pay, so what will you give to know?

Re: OTO Lecture: Scientific Approach to Magick
Aye right Des. You criticise everything, but it's never from an informed standpoint, you use abusive terms and react badly every time you are pulled up for this. Enough already. We do not uphold any one belief set or paradigm over any other here and the problem you have is that you go wading in desp...

Re: OTO Lecture: Scientific Approach to Magick
Desecrated is sailing perilously close to paradigm bashing and Crowley did very well for himself, despite being an, ahem...'mentally ill drug addict' as has been stated in this thread. Thelemites prefer to be called Thelemite, not Thelemist, so there's that too. If you want to know anything about Th...

Re: Questions for Goetic Mage
So, is it the consensus here that a Goetic pact must be made directly between the practitioner and the demon? And hence, that a third party working is not advisable? There are magickal practitioners who offer workings for sale online, so just wondering about this in relation to Goetia, particularly ...

And as I rebutted, you can apply these techniques to anybody who are inferior to you, in anyway. This may be part of your problem, if you believe others are inferior to you. And this, though it may be because of differences in useage/ definitions of terms in different countries: Here is a great lis...

Ooft. Nice article, not. Perhaps realising that intellect is not the same as intelligence might be a start? Ignorance can be educated and the article gets some things right, at least, in that direction. Patience, as suggested in this article and also the realisation that emotional intelligence is ju...

From the original author. It appears that you can name your own deities, from reading the above.
It's just a reworked version of the WMT/Ceremonial Quabalistic cross.
