Re: How local folk deals with ghosts

Good night to you all , I decided to share some local traditional knowledge about dealing with ''ujra járó'' , literally (he) who walks again. -------------------------------------- Please keep in mind that this is no more than local lore , it doesn't have much magick to it. It may sound absurd. , ...

Re: Slenderman Crime and Thoughtforms

http://doubtfulnews.com/2014/06/slenderman-myth-connected-to-attempted-murder/ Hi friendly occultists. I recently read about these two twelve year old girls who attempted to murder another twelve year old girl as an offering to the spooky Internet meme Slenderman. The way the story went down, it so...

Re: Astralogists please advise!

Manonthepath, what is your opinion regarding these shadow entities lingering around the sites of events that have already passed? I once moved into a house where a violent suicide had recently occurred and there was a particularly creepy one hanging around. I mistook it for a human ghost since I wa...

Re: Astralogists please advise!

I've dealt with these things on a number of occasions. 1,600mgs of Valerian root along with 450 mgs of skullcap taken about an hour before going to bed balances the energies and allows the body's natural auric defenses to keep these things at bay. One should always check with one's doctor before usi...

Re: Recommendations for a constant beginner

There might be something the paths you've tried have in common that causes you to seek change. Many paths can be restrictive to some. It's difficult to give another advice on such a matter, but it wouldn't hurt to get out in nature as much as you can, especially in winter. The shamanistic path of th...

I think it is a mistake to entrust responsibility to one who demonstrates a clear lack of maturity. Such decisions may cause people to leave the forum.

Re: When is it a good idea to curse somebody?

True curses are messy nasty things all around. Some older curses I've found are truly evil and I'll never share them, but just bring the info to my grave. Karma is a very real part of the equation. To intentionally curse someone with the intention of causing them harm always comes with a high price...

Re: Proposal of a rule against Discouragement of Practice

Your last point I agree. I just don't think we need an additional rule specifically for it. We have enough rules to deal with 'smarmy' posting. I agree, posts to new people should include at least some information about what they are doing is a bad idea, ie why they need to stop, learn other things...

Re: Proposal of a rule against Discouragement of Practice

There are a lot of people on the forums who think it's alright to be edgy. Examples include "no, you are not ready" when someone asks for basic ritual methods or "you're going to suffer", etc etc. Honestly, these sort of posts (and the people who write them) infuriate me. This i...

Re: Anyone here experienced in spells?

I wish I could advise you. Without bloodwork and specifics there is virtually nothing to go on. Both healing (of any kind) and magick are precise practices that need to be applied based on deatiled knowledge in order to be effective. I realize you are in pain and the condition is advanced. I'm sure ...

No apology needed. Yours was a genuine request seemingly from the heart. I just declined to expand on my response in detail. This is often my way. No hard feelings on my part. I would caution that this is probably a type of portal I would avoid creating as it is intensely dangerous. I appreciate you...

The best aren't easy to find. They usually have a cover group to screen individuals. Based on the little you've said, I'd advise you to look into the spiritual aspects of "Nova Roma." After a time one might take an interest in you.... or not. You might want to consider that you may need th...

[quote="RoseRed"]As long as you believe graveyard dirt won't work for you it most likely won't. It does for me. Magic isn't plain and boring - it's life itself and all that's included in it. It's a multicolored, multifaceted world where the unbelievable is a daily occurrence. You're not go...

Re: Anyone here experienced in spells?

Get a copy of your chart, erase any identity data, scan it and post it. If you can't do that, specifically clarify your diagnosis and at least scan and post your bloodwork. After that list your symptoms including times of day each is experienced. Also include your medical history with age, gender, a...

Does anyone have any tips on how to get a truthful answer come in a dream, meditation, or vision, without the use of substances? Yes, develop maturity. As has been stated, find a path that suits you. Then read about it for a few years while trying small things. Learn by trial and error. Experience ...

I can think of no reason to devote the time and effort. Besides, what I have learned has taken me decades and an incredible amount of effort, travel and expense. It is said that which is obtained at little cost is not appreciated. Another reason is that sometimes when I decide to share I have been m...

Drink the entire pot as fast as possible. Save the resulting urine and ...
