Re: Quote of the day

The Holy One loves us with the same love with which we love love each other but raised to the power of divinity. It is older than law, older than reason.-Victor H. Anderson

Re: Spiders

I know the spider is associated with the Goddesses Neith, Minerva, and were held sacred by the Moche people and certain aboriginal groups in Australia.

Through research, meditation, ritual, contemplation, sudden revelation, and the help of others. It will come to you when the time is right. It's a little different for everyone.

All I can say is go with what feels right and works for you. Not everyone knows where they stand with regards to such things, but ultimately it is best to go with whatever you feel resonates with you most strongly.

Re: What is covering your hand with one eye symbolizes?

I've never heard of anything of this nature, but it's possible it's some kind of folk protection or curse gesture. Might also have been a personal quirk.

Re: Zen Koan, parable, saying, quip etc...

A man once asked a monk "Does a dog have Buddha nature?" to which the monk replied "Yes."

Unlike most koans I know of this one has answer. However the answer in the context only serves to raised further questions.

Re: Is belief in astrology a key component of druidism?

While I have heard of Druids watching the movements of celestial bodies for religious purposes, it does not seem to have been a primary focus of Celtic religion.

Re: Do occultists believe in aliens?

I believe that aliens in all likliehood exist on some planet somewhere, but they are merely other mortal species not to be worshiped unlike holy immortal spiritual beings such as Gods and Spirits. I believe they should be treated with the same dignity as humans but no better than.

Re: Are some religions more true than others?

I think all of them are true in some way and are all sides of the same truth. Some times are outlook is skewed but I think they all ultimately aim toward the same overarching grand spiritual reality.

Re: what are your thoughts on santa muerte?

Another sadly misunderstood Christian appropriation of a pre-Christian Mesoamerican deity. Death is not necessarily a bad thing and those who revere her understand this as did the Mayans and Aztecs before them. She also reminds us to cherish and celebrate life while we are here. As certain as some s...

Lugh, the Morrigan, Brighid, Epona, and Daghda. Lugh the radiant long armed lord to represents the ultimate masculine divinity. He is all at once a fierce destructive lord and yet creative and clever. I consider him the ruler of aether as well. The Morrigan is the purifying destroyer and transformer...

No. An enemy of the holy ones is an enemy of mine. I am fascinated by Fenrir in a sense but I do not worship him. He is a being that I have a hard time trusting.

Hecate, Artemis, Demeter, Apollo, and Aphrodite. Hecate, the Mother of Night as I often call her is very important to me as she is the ruler of holy secrets and shadowy forces(shadow here has nothing to do with evil, merely a force that is part of the balance. The mysterious counter part to Aether)....

Hello Everyone.

Hello everyone. I have been a follower of the ancient wisdom for eight years now and I am currently going through a process of dedicating myself to the gods in a more personal way as a means of preparing myself to walk a path of priesthood. Anyway, it's good be here. I am a solitary more by circumst...
