Re: Liber AL vel Legis (The Book of Law)

Thank you for the recommendation. I'll look that one up. I think if there's one thing in it that I don't quite gel with though it's 'The khabs is in the khu, not the khu in the khabs'. Unless I'm not thinking this all the way through superposition and wave-function collapse seem to suggest against t...

Re: Liber AL vel Legis (The Book of Law)

Does anyone know if anyone has done a linguistic comparison of the language of the Book of the Law and that of Crowley's other writings? If "Aiwass" was Crowley's own HGA as he seemed to think himself, then it would make sense that it would have his own flair and has some of the same poeti...

Re: Direct Magic

The images are simple but workable. What they mean is in part based on what you choose that they mean, though there are traditions of color usage in magick that are long standing and can be useful. So no, nothing to worry about still.

Re: Society in dreams

Can it be that people live in dreams? There are a number of ways to interpret this question so, I’d say: it depends. :) I think that other people, as in others who are alive, yes, can be met in dreams. The concept of shared dreaming hasn’t been widely accepted in the psychological community . I agr...

I am an American and I have not been to China, so I can only tell you what I've learned from books and talking to others. I believe that negative thoughts affecting yourself and your surroundings would be a common tradition in Chinese culture in terms of it altering your qi (http://www.thefreedictio...

bump Thank you. :) Note that I am most likely not trying not cast any curse just some form of cleansing? Okay, let’s focus on the cleansing aspect. ritual(that i made it up) that I am not 100% sure would work just to at least reassure myself everything is ok during those times. It depends on what y...

Re: strengthening TK?

I think the tips would depend in part on what you want to do with the skill. I believe the post Ramsha linked is correct that some telekinetic effects, such as a physical fireball, would take different energy than an astral fire ball for instance. (I used google translate. I’m hoping I understood it...

Re: Direct Magic

So what do you think in the end? Nope. That’s cheating. ;) I’ve already said that the answer to that question would need to come from you. Do you think that I assumed any magical state of mind and focus of will and casted spell based on what I said? Nope, not answering that one either. ;) That ques...

Re: Direct Magic

This is a belief system. The Wicaans would call it the law of three, others would call it Karma, others would call it self-fulfilling prophesy manifesting subconsciously most likely from guilt feelings, still others would say it was all three. There is also the other view that there is nothing outsi...

I have a couple of questions for you so that I can know how to respond, if you wish one. How did you find this page? Do you know who Ron Wyatt is? And what is your interest in Biblical archeology?

Re: EW Bullinger's 'The Witness of the Stars'

My two cents :) Though I had not read this text before (I looked through the link Nahemah posted). I’ve heard of, and agree with, the concept of sections of the Bible being mystery school (particularly connected with Egypt) oriented. According to its self-proclaimed history, two of the most prominen...
