Re: can inhaling smoke of herbs cause divinition
I should, of course, highlight a positive aspect, from the article, to get those good vibes flowing again: "by the end of the story you discover she just wants to be loved." We all want to be loved, and there are different paths and medicines that can lead us to wisdom and love. Find yours...

Re: can inhaling smoke of herbs cause divinition
I am interested in and indeed, reasonably knowledgeable about the Pineal gland and the important role it plays in the endocrine system and I don't write off psychedelics. ... For some... it's the lack of direct experience or understanding that closes their minds to everything outside their own prefe...

Re: can inhaling smoke of herbs cause divinition
Thanks, Nahemah. Below is a useful and multi-perspective video on psychedelic medicine. Not all of it is about divination, per se, but what the video shows us is that psychedelics are largely misunderstood and stigmatized. It wouldn't surprise me that people interested in the Pineal gland would writ...

Re: Herbalism Basics
Well, the rum is 75.5%ABV, which is the highest legal in MN. So Everclear and Bacardi 151 are the same proof; I was just worried about the tannins, as well as for aesthetic purposes the flavor.

Re: can inhaling smoke of herbs cause divinition
Absolutely. Scent can be a powerful tool (works great for creating recallable memories!) for practitioners and for those who want to enter other realms. Just be careful that, while you're exploring or inviting beings that aren't of this plane, your physical body is not at risk. It is only a vessel, ...

Re: The Green Man
It's hard to say. I may have encountered him once, or it may have been some other forest entity, but it seemed a bit forboding, so I think it may have been him based on what I've bothered to read. In any event, I was not harmed and my encounter was very short. My overall hike was not greatly impact...

Re: can inhaling smoke of herbs cause divinition
There are, of course, many stories to tell. But care should always be exercised. Burning herbs is a way to receive medicine. And you should always ask an experienced individual before sitting with any medicine. Most times, it's useful to have a guide with you the first time you try something new or ...

Druidic Initiation
I recently had an experience which confirmed my feelings that magic is very real in this world, and that there is a language of the trees. After spending some time with some great medicine, and sitting in a circle of many magical people all on their own journeys for almost three days, I realized tha...

Re: Creating Your Own Elixir
Yes, spagyrics was invisioned by Paracelsus, so any alchemists before the early- to mid-1500s (and many afterward who agreed more with Agrippa) would not have practiced herbal alchemy, at least not with the same system in place (alchemy didn't even always have astrology in it). Studying is what I do...

Re: Spell of Protection for "Exploring Other Realms"
Don't worry; I never expected to have a spell be my only line of defense -- my mind has its own power, I know. :P I'm working on getting into a better etheric state before going, and am doing some alchemy the night before, which should be good for me. And yes, I'll certainly have a great watchman. I...

Re: Spell of Protection for "Exploring Other Realms"
Well, I have tripped once before, whilst going through a breakup. It was not the ideal place to be in mentally, but I was with a great friend, and it was a very social hallucinogen, so we had a great time and I had some great realizations. But this will be a more spiritual experience, so I wondered ...

Ritual of Protection for "Introspection"
Hey folks, I posted this under Spell Sharing as well, but I'm wondering if anybody has a practice that helps them stay safe during travels with plants like Hawaiian Baby Woodrose. I just don't want to be exposed to too dark of a place without protection, and would even more rather have the experienc...

Spell of Protection for "Exploring Other Realms"
Hey y'all, I'm going to be having an experience with Hawaiian Baby Woodrose this upcoming weekend, and I'm wondering if any of you know a spell or ritual for helping me to stay in the right frame of mind before, during, and after. This will be my first experience with such an introspective plant, so...

Resources for finding communities IRL?
Hey y'all! Now, this community has been super helpful for me in my short time here, and I'm certainly here to stay, but I'm wondering what is a good place to go for finding meetings offline. For relevant information's sake, I'm located in the Twin Cities metro area, and am starting an organization f...

Ah, makes sense. Well then I guess obtaining Everclear may make more experimenting necessary.
I'll post results, certainly!
