Re: Hunting for Food
I've caught dinner, too, which is why I think it's important for people to know that there is a good and a bad way to get the job done, and not to give up on the idea of a clean kill just because there's blood. To the animal, I'm sure it makes a pretty big difference. [wink]

Re: Hunting for Food
killing them quickly and cleanly Ever worked at a butchers store? Killing is never clean and what seams quick to you might be completly different for the one you bring death upon. Of course death himself is probably the cleanest and most sterile of all forces in this cosmos but the art of killing n...

Re: Is This Supposed to Happen
No experience, but on an intuitive level I want to point out that these beings are not quite like us and yet like us in the worst of ways. Showing fear or being too yielding can have the same negative consequences as it can with a human being, only with something far more powerful than your garden v...

Re: Hunting for Food
All suggestions here are good. I'm one who'd see honoring the land more as direct action. I'm actually planning to sit down and write my first novel starting next month, but I'm still a little lost when it comes to publishing one. Here's to hoping you had some success with yours.

Re: New here, new to Thelema
Thanks to you both. And... A beautiful picture you chose. Welcome No particular significance, but they were one of the stones I used to collect along the lake shores when the family would go "up north" for a summer. Good place to get away from any sign of people other than the occasional c...

New here, new to Thelema
I've been interested in these things since childhood, but have always struggled to find my footing. I was the reason my parents removed us from religious school in my first grade year, but the past 20 years or so have just been me continuing to butt heads and feel ill at ease in any other setting. I...
