Re: How do you deal With the occult and public life?
Isn't it kinda a given that you'd not be able to be very open about something occult? I mean, that's literally what makes them occult since it means "hidden". But, I'm sure most of you know that. As for actually opening up to people. Try speaking to them about various unrelated subject tha...

Re: What is the point in summoning a Demon?
I know several people who evoke demons. These are some of the reasons they give. They claim demons are 100% more powerful than any other spirits. They say they always get what they want when evoking demons, but rarely get what they want from angels/spirits/gods. They generally laugh at the idea tha...

True. Although, to most, including myself, there isn't much of a difference between a strong ego and a big ego. I was also being a tad bit sarcastic. Nonetheless, you make valid points.

Re: Magickal Will
Strengthen your ego. And in order to do this, you must do the following... 1. Prove you're right even if you're wrong 2. Treat anyone who doesn't live up to your standards like trash 3. Boast about your accomplishments 4. Don't give a crap about what others think unless it's positive 5. Tell yourse...

Re: Do you believe in faith??
I'm not sure about divine plans, mostly because I'm a seeker agnostic atheist, but everything definitely happens for a reason. "Random" doesn't exist and never will. Nature isn't random, our minds aren't random, nothing is random. Everything happens for a reason, just usually hard to know ...

Re: Time Travel
Time travel might be theoretically possible. I have two ways, but they're theories with theories and wrapped up with ifs and the such. 1. Maybe time is already written and is like a video (with frames), thus with the right understanding of magic and the world, you might be able to "rewind"...

Re: Life After Death?
@Horny Goat Ser is an alternate spelling of sir, so I don't care which you use. I just like how ser looks. As for all of what you said in response. They were just "examples" to use your theory with, the last of which was intentionally stupid and far-fetched. After all, many people believe ...

Re: Life After Death?
@Horny Goat (Oh, god, that name, though...) So, theoretically, if I believed that when I died I got reborn with all my prior knowledge, experience, mental qualities, and other non-physical qualities still with me, but in a different body.....That would be what I get? Or, if I believed that those who...

Re: How do spirits look like?
One theory is that their apparent are only projections of your own mind. So they will look the way you think they would look like. Only a theory? Shouldn't someone test it out? You could get a bunch of people together to view spirits, but not describe them and what the spirits are doing other than ...

Re: Life After Death?
Personally, I like to believe that once we're dead we'll get reincarnated. While I mostly believe this because deep down I really dislike the idea of not being able to lead lives throughout history as multiple people and instead being trapped in some paradise or spiritual prison....I also think it's...

Fair enough. Well, it's not like I immediately expect to lift objects and perform spells that probably seem extremely impractical. And, I have plenty of years to spend acquiring these skills since I'm only 17. So, I shall go work on all that as well as studying. Yeah, skill is needed for the knowled...

I know that, Rin. That's why I'm not gonna just expect me to go out back, practice magic, try moving the Earth, and get actual results. Research is always something I do before I do anything. New to a video game? Read the instructions. Not sure how to respond in a debate related to <insert subject h...

OK, so from what I can tell from reading this thread...I will have to do a lot of reading/research to advance myself in direct magic/k, I have numerous ways to get a familiar, I'd have to improve my clair-<suffix> to get better "sight for the supernatural, as I called it, and you guys seem to a...

A few questions that probably sound n00bish
Welp. I figured it was about time I tried asking some things about the occult and magic/k that have been buzzing in my mind for a while. Yes, several questions, because I'm a curious cat and other sources always get too varied and usually rely on some form of magical words of the almighty tongue of ...

Re: Magick-Natural or Supernatural in Origin
I'm new to all this, but I always assume the energy is chaotically moving around through out the whole world. I don't believe magic originates from gods, although if gods exist (I'm "seeker agnostic" when it comes to religion) they might be able to be called upon to manipulate these energi...

Re: Why does all paranormal happen after sunset?
I agree with what others are saying. I know from experience that during the night all my senses feel like they've intensely risen, it's much easier to focus when there's not 500 people driving, talking, or doing anything nearby and most other creatures are also silent. Speaking of which, night makes...

Re: DO YOU KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT A CRIME NO ONE WILL ADMIT?
Crimes such as these take many forms: abductions, animal sacrifices, desecrations...even murder. It almost sounds as if you don't consider animal sacrifices murder since you've listed them as two separate things. Either way, I'm not sure how much I care about this crime stuff and linking it to the ...
