Re: does the brh banish the archangels from lbrp?
No, The LBRP banish's lower astral influences and calls on the four archangels to protect your circle The BRH banish's upper astral forces and creates an upper astral circle for lack of better explanation.

The Ibeyi- Taebo and Kainde, and incest?
I was reading a book on a "New Age Voodoo" that was based upon Haitian Vodou and included passages about the twins and how human boy/girl twin marriage and sexual relations was allowed and blessed in Vodou. It also included other "blessed incest" with siblings and cousins. Is thi...

Stone from a Mountain
Just as the title says I am looking for a stone that comes from a mountain and it must come from a mountain. However I don't live anywhere near mountains. A local new age store says their emerald stones come from mountains but no real way to confirm on my side. Are there any stones that 100% come fr...

The Two Carlos Montenegro's
I have mentioned in a couple posts books about Santeria and Palo Mayombe written by Carlos Montenegro. After some research it seems to be what I suggested in one of my earlier posts, two authors same name. Carlos Montenegro who's book I have used and was an authentic practitioner of and wrote about ...

Re: Palo Mayombe
Motumbá Àse ATR/ADR is very hands on, initiation-emphasized, and experiential. Not saying that you wont get anywhere without this but these traditions have a strong air of communal workings/worship and verbally transmitted methods unless that is just to learn and get knowledge, I'm very oposed to t...

Re: My Thoughts on Grimoires
On doves blood http://www.luckymojo.com/dovesblood.html People have demonstrated folk names for herbs etc, but still claim secret initiation to have the secrets without proof Catherine yronwoode is not a great source for historical accuracy. The greek did not use wild animals in a sacrificial mater...

Magickal Time Travel
Do you think its possible to use magick to resume my life at like 12 years old with all my knowledge I have now ? ( don't ask why, its hypothetical )
What do you think would be the price to pay?
Judging from what i read on the life extension section it be pretty hefty.

Re: My Thoughts on Grimoires
Dove's blood ink originally used real doves blood, I've not been able to find anything that supports that. The oldest sources I've found are about ruby powder, and then people thought it was dove's blood. That is why I made the distinction between the two texts. scholars believe John Dee's cipher c...

Dove's blood ink originally used real doves blood, scholars believe John Dee's cipher contained codes because he was an English spy relaying info for the Queen. I enjoy all information and points of view but it hasn't refuted my original complaints.

Re: My Thoughts on Grimoires
It should be noted that the noble and wealthy folks that the grimoires usually ended up in the hands of would not necessarily be educated in what would be common folklore among people of lower status, and so such knowledge would not be necessarily basic and certainly could be considered an initiati...

Re: My Thoughts on Grimoires
The OP suggests there are no fool traps but that recipes found within magical texts are to be taken as read. From that line of thinking I cannot imagine how I will obtain a Jews liver or Bats wool.To get a wolf tail or tongue of dog I would probably have to go hunting or mutilate some ones pet.This...

You can assure me that traps and blinds were not employed by modern apologetics but can you prove it ? It seems you read to much into plain language. To ward off dabblers? Your first point: On "The picatrix book 3 chapter 4"
See my 2nd thought on the Grimoires having BS in them
Your second point: On the translations
Again no matter what form different copies exist as well see my example on the Grimoire of Armadel.
Appreciate your feedback

Here are my thoughts on the old Grimoires( Greater Key of Solomon, the Goetia etc) 1. No such thing as "fool traps" to hide the secrets from the uninitiated This was an started by the Golden dawn and later picked up by more lax new age people who wanted all the results without any real wor...
