As someone who reads such books!
Separating the primer into theory and then practice is so nice. Designing your own workbook companion would be fairly innovative, imo.
Keeping a fairly neutral narrative is nice, as well. Explain what's necessary to the practice and the principles behind it.

Re: Beginner question on motivation?
I would think that's a moment you recognize, and that it's only a moment you would personally be able to recognize. Think of it like learning how to ice skate. Learning how to ice skate absolutely sucks, and the only way to learn it is to get on the ice actually go around the rink 4 times. The first...

Re: Feeling "Awake"
Even though I never denounced my Christianity, I too had a very strong Christian upbringing that I turned away from in my early adult years. My strong experiences came from sex magick and mental projection; however, I find that there's very little escaping Christianity the further in you get unless ...

Bardon study group, anyone?
Hello! Perhaps in direct comparison to everyone else on this forum, I am a total novice. Any work on my part has either been due to sheer luck or a natural aptitude that I can't explain. My greatest accomplishment thus far was brought on through sex magick where, not to go into great detail, a relat...

Re: Doubts about Tarot?
One of my more significant brushes with the occult was when I was a young girl about age 16, and because the tarot reader at a Renaissance festival had been kind enough to drive me through the mud from camp to festival grounds, I tagged along her and later paid for my own tarot reading. I had finish...

Re: I'm doing this out of order, but hello!
It's worse when you're actually born into the religion with frenetic parents. There's never more assurity that your 'truth' is the only actual truth, and that any alteration is a gross perversion to not even question, touch, or go near. I had a friend in my early 20's who would constantly debate me ...

I'm doing this out of order, but hello!
Hello! Pardon my rude, rude manners, but I jumped gun on my first day of sign up and went directly to Beginner Info both to receive ideas and in some way, I suppose, validation for my desire to be here. I was blessed enough to have Shin be the first to come by and leave commentary for my questions, ...

Re: My Beginner Questions
When it comes to the advice about practising banishing for a good period of time before doing anything big, I would extend that same advice. It's a good idea to at least have practised that kind of ritual for long enough to know that you'll be able to banish the hell out of anything that you may ne...

The words in the video actually constitute a spell. You've asked for it so here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6WeU2vg0KQ We kiss the laurel of honor We are the sphere of excess Millions of men In unity Incinerating the states of decline We're bringing war 'til the end of all time Out of t...

Re: My Beginner Questions
Before you summon things you should practice banishing for at least a year. Preferable two. Actually, Desecrated, I'm curious why you offer this advice. It seemed like from several posts I've spotted from you, you're of the belief that spirits / ancient beings are 'shadow speak' so to speak, and th...

Re: My Beginner Questions
Before you summon things you should practice banishing for at least a year. Preferable two. Please forgive the question, but the practicing banishing seems to imply that something would already be there to banish. How would I practice that? Unless, you mean having a more accomplished dabble summon ...

Re: My Beginner Questions
First of all, Shin, I can't express how grateful I am that you took the time to respond to my questions. Aside from the questions answered, it lead me on a little click-click adventure I found your meditation guide--something which I know I've needed to work on for a while, both for projection and f...

My Beginner Questions
Hello! I suppose along with my beginner questions, I should make a brief introduction. Ever since my early adulthood years (age 18ish), I've been more spiritually inclined than not. It began with a surprise kundalini awakening when, one night during a terrible Texas lightning storm, a large clash of...
