Re: Any clues on who/what this being is?

I'm perfectly at home in the shadow and the absolute darkness :)

I hadn't thought about this entity in a month or so, but I happened to pop back here today. I don't know why I didn't focus more on the mask at the time, I have a weird history with masks. I'll give that some thought, thanks :)

Re: Any clues on who/what this being is?

The darkness was a specific type of darkness. Not shadow, not our perception of darkness, it was a thing unto itself. Many things exist within the infinite expanse. However, I was commenting on his apparent control over this. When you mentioned that he controlled this absolute dark. The phrasing ma...

Re: Any clues on who/what this being is?

I propose a thought. In it's entirety? Or just what we can perceive? The darkness was a specific type of darkness. Not shadow, not our perception of darkness, it was a thing unto itself. Illusions are a good way of maintain a presence. I had a thought at the beginning of the original post, but afte...

Re: Any clues on who/what this being is?

Nope. I'm an expat, I lived in Prague for a few years but England is where I was born and raised. I'm tied to the Celtic and Norse traditions, and I didn't recognise him as connected to either of those pantheons.

I'm no longer in Prague, I just haven't updated my bio :) Thanks for the thought and reply though.

Any clues on who/what this being is?

There's a being that's connected to absolute darkness. Not shadow. (No I'm not interested in getting into a discussion about shadow versus darkness). The darkness is truly absolute, it consumes everything. Life essence, light, everything. I'm not worried about that part, I want to figure who/what th...

Happy Samhain.

I couldn't find another post for this, and figured this was the place for it. I stop by here once a year, maybe less. The mods will probably remember me as Tiaden. (I'm hopeless about losing my login details). Anyway! Happy Samhain! Happy Beltane for those in the Southern Hemisphere. Whether you're ...

Re: Mythical Being Who Wears The Night Sky As A Cloak?

I noticed when I Googled. I was hoping for something in mythology, rather than modern fiction. :)

Mythical Being Who Wears The Night Sky As A Cloak?

I've done a reasonable amount of digging and such and not found anything that mentions this, so here I am.

Does anyone know anything about a mythical being that wears the night sky as a cloak?

Re: What does your name mean?

My name is very straight forward - two elements thrown together. I can honestly say I chose it to hide. I've had too much trouble these past couple of years to use something with more meaning. So I chose two big parts of my pagan/occult identity, and threw them into a rather blunt and messy label.

Re: Consequences Of Breaking A Soulmate Bond?

I'm pretty sure I hit adulthood a decade ago [tongue] But hell, if that's all that happens, the people involved wouldn't even notice, so why not right? [grin]

Consequences Of Breaking A Soulmate Bond?

We'll say, for arguments sake, that soulmates are a thing. What does a soulmate bond mean in this case? A very strong bond between two people. When viewed it appears as a large rope like bond stemming from the sternum on both parties connecting them together. Sensation-wise there's a strong pull bet...

Re: Dream Outside Of My Usual Landscape.

Having done a tarot reading and looked back at it, I agree with you. I feel like I'm being pushed (again). "The time has come to stop hiding". It struck me as a clear warning to stop interfering with things I can't change, and get on with focusing on being what I'm supposed to be. Stop hol...

Re: How to forgive and let go?

I think Desecrated summed it up pretty well. You need to get the feelings and the memories out. Write it down. Scream it at a wall. Paint it. Whatever you need to do to get it out. You also need to understand that this will take time. Don't expect an overnight change or revelation here. It's taken m...

I know exactly what you mean. I've been trying to lose myself in books and avoid anything and everything even vaguely political. Fortunately there's always lots of work to be done! lol

Dream Outside Of My Usual Landscape.

I'm not normally one to share my dreams, but I just woke up from this one and can't even try to get back to sleep without sharing it here. The feeling is really rather insistent. >.< Normally my dreams all take place in one small world, with a small set cast of characters. I can make a map of that p...

Re: Wanderer Returns.

I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing that I'm so memorable given I go months between visits lol.

It's been a little stressful, this Brexit stuff has been nerve-wracking. That and I have a pretty insane publishing schedule over this summer. I'm ready to sleep for a few weeks now lol.

Maybe that's it, maybe Nahemah has put a spell on us so we return every now and again lol.

Thanks :D We'll see what trouble I end up stirring up this time lol

I went digging and I was under Tiaden last time I was here. For those who're curious and all.

Wanderer Returns.

Evening all, I've been coming and going from this forum for quite a few years now. I don't know how I keep losing my username and password I really don't... Anyway! I'm Shen, a Chaote, and an English expat currently living in Prague. For the old hands I think I was Fyrehart previously? Every now and...
