Re: Gaudiya Vaishnava

I was actually wondering if someone could help me with this :) Particularly, I'm fond of the Bhagavad Gita. So I wanted to take a few more steps. I am unsure about what comes next. Does that automatically entail having to learn from organizations like ISKCON? Does one have to follow Krishna and be a...

Re: Aloha

Welcome :)

I like your Manly P. Hall quote, I just bought the Secret Teachings of All ages a week or two ago.

I hope you find a good place here in the forum.

Re: Worry Beads

These ones I make usually have 17 beads, as per the tradition of worry beads, as well as a shield bead and a priest bead. That's cool though that your mala beads help to a calming effect :) I'd like to make a proper mala bead set one day.

Here's another set of worry beads made from bone beads.

Worry Beads

I made a string of worry beads, for counting, prayer etc, and so far they have not left my side. I find they are excellent as a reminder (like those strings you tie to a finger or wrist, elastic etc) but in this case, to remain calm and they help with anxiety. Granted if the anxiety is too severe, i...

Re: I am new here, please guide me on this

I highly agree with RockDemon. Generally, while I do feel the temptations of vengeful thinking, I eschew acting on them as they tend to do more trouble than good. Do you really wanna put yourself at risk in the equation, for some retribution that will likely take a shape on it's own? Unless there's ...

Re: Happy Fiery new year :)

Amon, One of the reasons I liked Kelly -Ann is her attitude towards magick, that it should not be stagnant, or a chore. Become liberated with it, have fun, learn as much as you can tolerate but don't forget to experiment. She said that rituals should not be too formula based or tired if that's not y...

Re: Happy Fiery new year :)

Welcome Amon :) I have some familiarity with chaos magick, I might be able to point you in the direction of some videos or books that may be of assistance to you. Kelly Anne Maddox on youtube has some great videos on chaos magick I've found quite helpful to my development. Austin Osman Spare is cons...

Old User, New Name and Attitude

I went by another account a while ago, I decided to abandon that identity in favor of a more pragmatic, balanced and fun attitude. :) This includes my approach to magick. I used to ask a lot for advice, and perhaps there may be days where I do indeed need help. But I'm exercising self reliance, and ...
