Re: DnD Paradigm
I don't know very much about DnD (became VERY interested in RPGs as a young kid but had no friends to play with, they were all into cars and football and stuff, and by the time I got to college I was well more into music) but I'm sure it would work as an excellent paradigm. Not only have these entit...

Has occult forum ever had a meet up?
For those in the same country/continent. I know a lot of people here are from the UK, would be cool to have a meet-up some time, maybe somewhere in the midz, rent out a function room or hit up a stone circle or something. Its usually frowned upon for new members of forums to organise meet-ups so thi...

I suppose people respond differently. Alcohol makes me excitable, stupid and eventually sick. Marijuana makes me feel peaceful and creative.

Re: Marijuana?
Thanks very much for the responses. I think whats strangest to me is how accepting occultists are of drinking. It can't possibly be conceived to be more useful in magical workings (or as a magicians pasttime) then marijuana, and any criticism one could give of using marijuana as a magician could be ...

Marijuana?
Anyone here ingest? I'm a fairly regular smoker, good few times a week. I'm hoping to get involved with a local group or circle soon, but am not sure just how much it is frowned up (or not) amongst occultists. This might seem silly given some of the occult's most valued writers passtimes, but you'd ...

Re: Finding my starting point. Need advice.
I feel like chaos magick is something that, in its truest form, will always be digging for the root, the basic, the be-all, in an almost Buddhist-like way, just scraping away the unnecessary faff to get to the real source point. With imagination being essential to it, there will be all sorts of enig...

Invoking tarot?
Is there a known practice of this? For instance, if I wanted to invoke the King of Cups rather than this or that god or demon. I mean I know anythings possible when it comes to chaos and such, and I'm aware that people invoke deities they've made up or characters from comics, but I'm just wondering ...

Re: Do people still work with Fotamecus?
Accounts from Fotamecus creators seem to contrast that though, one van of chaotes having charged Fotamecus travelled a long distance in a short amount of time, beating another van by a considerably high amount of time. I don't think its strictly limited to your perception of time, at least not as fa...

Re: What happens if I do not re-absorb a servitor?
I see. The reason I ask is because my servitors feel in a way like my children or pets, even if they're "all grown up" I don't feel like taking their life force away. I have no qualms with them hanging round, helping other people or just building on themselves in whatever way the univere d...

Absolutely. Skimming through last night got me interested for it anyway, I have encountered what you call shadow people before (on my first astral trip, no less). I'm gonna get to it in an hour.
edit: although I should say my name is only coincidentally similiar to Muloc (or is it...? [cool2])

Re: Request for a student for the XOYLO
I just read the first few pages of the introduction, I think I'll give this course a proper read starting from tomorrow - looks like a lot of personal terminology and symbology but for the most part looks compatible with what I already believe (then again most things are...). I'd be interested in se...

Re: What happens if I do not re-absorb a servitor?
Pretty much every source on servitors says that once they've performed whatever function you've required you're supposed to reabsord the energy you put into them back into yourself. It doesn't surprise me that there are magicians that don't do this, but its really surprising there are practicing mag...

Do people still work with Fotamecus?
The most reason thing I heard of Fotamecus was that he was planning to challenge Cronos for the throne of time. Do people still do work with Fotamecus and his countless copies? Is he still cooperable?

Re: Resetting your tarot deck
Mostly because when I started with the tarot I'd only use them a few times a week, and it wasn't that much of a bother then, now I use them much more but its become habit and "feels right". Anyway, I've compromised. I'm not gonna reset after every use but will always place The Fool on top ...
