Learning solo vs joining a group
Hello! I was wondering which of these do you prefer? Learning alone and working solo or joining a 'group' (let's call it that) and learning from someone and learning it well? There aren't many options available in Portugal and the ones that exist are incredibly secretive. I don't mind working alone,...

Re: Looking for a specific book
So as it turns out, to my dismay, they are not one and the same (my memory is terrible, seriously). Finally found the sex magick one. It's Basil Crouch's 'The Darkside of the Moon: A Complete Course' ( pdf ). As for the one whose index is aesthetically like Kraig's Modern Magick but has extense deta...

Re: The Rosicrucian Order, AMORC
Foolishly I didn't think the english site would have more info, but it does!
In any case, I think I'll set up an interview - nothing better than actually going there.
Thanks, Desecrated!

The Rosicrucian Order, AMORC
Hello, Lately I've been on a sort of 'quest' to find any sort of groups in Portugal, going from freemasonry to Thelemites to Rosicrucians. Thelemites don't seem to congregate here, Freemasons are here, but I've also found a very noticeable Rosicrucian Lodge in Lisbon. They have an official website w...

Looking for a specific book
Hi! I used to have a really big occult book collection in my computer, but I decided to get rid of it a while ago for pretty stupid reasons. Now that I've seen I really can't just ignore my interest in the occult because it's always here, I find myself in need of a book whose author's name I can't r...

Anyone from Portugal?
Hey
I'd be interested in forming a study group of some sort with people in Portugal. I know just saying 'Portugal' is very broad because if I'm from the south and someone is from the north that'll be a problem, but I figure it's a start.
So, anyone?

Religious views
Hello! As usual, I come with questions rather than answers and findings (noob forever, I guess). I have always been a bit unsure when it comes to my religious views. I am from Portugal, a majorly Catholic country and, therefore, I was 'raised' as such. I write 'raised' rather than raised because my ...

Re: The Book of Saint Cyprian - The Sorcerer's Jewel
I don't know what to think about The Book of Saint Cyprian anymore. It's apparently a popular book amongst a few Portuguese Satanists and my mom isn't very fond of it ...
About the other books you're looking for, I can't really say much.

Re: The Book of Saint Cyprian - The Sorcerer's Jewel
Okay, I'm actually reading the book (it's here but you won't be able to understand it) just to see what you were talking about. First, the book is divided into 8 parts, the first being a warning -- the book is not transmissible, etc, it must be destroyed or conserved with care after reading, etc. Th...

Re: The Book of Saint Cyprian - The Sorcerer's Jewel
I'm sorry, I only have it in the original version, Portuguese. I highly doubt it's been translated to English ... EDIT: Also, the Book of Saint Cyprian can't be considered a solid text of Biblical Devil Worshipping. A lot of superstitious people say it shouldn't be read, etc, but the book's pretty m...

Thank you for your input, Desecrated. Turns out, I overlooked the headphones part, got confused, and just used regular earphones. My bad. [blush] I'll try to buy some headphones to try it out properly. It was so bad I fell asleep trying to use binaural beats for meditation ahahah I suck at this, guys!

Alright, I will!
Thank you for all your help, EternalReturn and Asurendra. I'm o longer going to study tonight so I'll try some for meditating, but tomorrow I'll use some for studying, definitely.
If I like it I'll probably come here to gush :p
Again, thank you!

Re: Binaural Beats
Ok so I was planning on using them for a study session this evening and went to search for torrents of binaural beats. I found a torrent where the uploader gave 'instructions' on how to use binaural beats and you basically tripped yourself out and twitched and convulsed and everything. Ummm... Are t...

Binaural Beats
Hello! Have any of you ever used binaural beats for meditation (or anything else)? I read an article about it the other day ( this one ) and I became really interested in trying it, mostly because it's really hard for me to concentrate on something for longer than ... 5 minutes. Are binaural beats s...

Re: Could it have been an attempted possession?
Yes, my first guess was sleep paralysis, but I ruled it out because she was, well, awake. She was putting her phone on her nightstand to get ready for sleep when it happened.
However, since I'm not her, I'll admit that she may have been almost falling asleep, thus causing it.
Thank you

Could it have been an attempted possession?
Hi. I'm very worried about my little sister. She is thirteen and very 'sensitive', if you get my drift. She gets it from my mom. Aside from a few times where she's seen a woman in white, though, nothing else had ever happened to her. Until this week. I only just found out about this because I'm away...

I didn't question my Law career path, it was simply an example I used in order to correctly word my question. But thank you for the best wishes! Anyway, Cybernetic_Jazz, I see your point and I get it, I understand it, I can totally live with it (in fact, it's what I usually do until I stop to think ...
