Re: Is suicide honorable?
Combat arms make up less than 1% of the US military. In Japan you have the navy and the airforce, some marines and a tiny unit of green berets. I'm sure you are correct. I'm using the word military to encompass the entire "military" I have no idea what the different branches does. A bit o...

I also want to say that some of the greatest individuals I've ever met were "grunts". IQ's through the roof, a sense of duty and integrity we can all aspire to, great husbands and better fathers. Except when it comes to rape. Which is a huge problem both inside the military and around mil...

It's certainly easy to pretend all problem are temporary. Some learn otherwise the hard way. I dont believe Im pretending at all. Time brings endless change. Do you have an example? I mean I will agree that I will probably live my entire life on this earth, but its pretty sad if I can't accept that...

I can't stand Manly P. Hall. Can you give some reasons ? Just not my taste. If I remember correctly, reading Secret Traditions or whatever it was felt like reading an Illuminati post on a David Icke forum. If you're referring to Secret Teachings of All Ages, it read more like an encyclopedia than a...

As for suicide being weak; what of the vast numbers of victims of rape (at any age, child as well as adult; male as well as female; anal or oral as well as vaginal) who commit suicide. Re: Is suicide honorable?
Reminds me of a story. A general who served during several campaigns in Afghanistan and Iraq was in charge of establishing a memorial for the fallen on the field in front of the staff duty office. He was given a list of names of soldiers who had died during the last two deployments and wasn't expect...
