I agree that "without lust of result" is one of the most important things to purge the process from your conscious mind. It's like the old joke that your hiccups will be cured if you can run round the house three times without thinking of the word "wolf".

Yeah, sorry - was with family and didn't get there until 2 - I've read some of Spare before - his poetry is cool, his art is excellent, but I find his actual magical writing practically impenetrable (no pun intended). Of course he doesn't do himself any favours by writing in that pseudo King James B...
