Howdy. I like everything, but don't really have a "background" in anything.

Re: Hello

I'm on the same wagon for welcomes, just woke up from under the blanket at the front of the bed. What's up?

I like everything, too.

Re: Theory On Offerings and Otherworldly Purpose

Once you see past the bullshit, there's plenty of magickal stuff in there - but you've got to stop going to the sermons. Their interpretation via their own "divine revelation" is the problem. Ain't that the truth; I live in Tulsa, OK, Bible Belt, and it's exceptionally difficult to find s...

Re: Bent Out of Shape

Thanks for the assist. I've tried it two nights in a row now, and on top of other things, have felt a friend working on me, sitting on my leg. Don't know how to explain it; I got the glimpse of a female and I'm not sure I'd met her before. I felt that vibed sensation of pure energy [ Kundalini ] run...

Re: Theory On Offerings and Otherworldly Purpose

I know, there are many crazies out there. I mean, why mess with drug dealers or mafia in the first place when you know you'll be in their pocket? The problem with mass religion though, is that unless you already have an unbendable will it'll be near to impossible to avoid their subconscious advances...

Theory On Offerings and Otherworldly Purpose

I have an idea on why spirits don’t [usually] want something we would consider valuable to them in return for working with them. This is not the end all truth, necessarily, but a possible new idea to explore. Brobdingnag said in "Can the Necronomicon be performed" under "Spell Sharing...

Re: Post a picture of your furry friend

If the public library didn't block myspace, I could get my old pics of a dog past to show. Most excellent idea, animals are strangely awesome. [fights with--feelings of masculine insecurity!]

Re: Chrystals for long hair.

Depending on your personal look, a certain hair style can make it grow faster, too. Tightly woven cornrows pull at the roots and make hair come out faster, which is already such a slow process that having to make new hair faster isn't hindered. Get a haircut and cornrows during a full moon and voila...

Re: Bent Out of Shape

Hey, I felt some tingling just visualizing while I read! It was due to trying on the notion of "freely giving and receiving." Thanks for the over-explanation. I sometimes have a tendency to misinterpret things, so excess exactness is always appreciated. I'll perform this a time or two a da...

Re: No Spiritual Construct/Matrix

I believe your belief is correct. The more I think about it, the less individual constructs seem limiting. They seem to do just that: explain things. I would much prefer to do, learn, and develop than merely stagnate in inaction. It's also true that each belief system needs to cater the individual. ...

Bent Out of Shape

I hurt my back (and my pride) lifting stupidly recently. I live in a public dorm unsuitable to rituals or extensive meditative practice, yoga or qigong. Does anybody have any suggestions for healing practices? While I can't perform overt rituals, I have a pretty good imager and can internalize/visua...

Hey Zelator. It's good to see that so many people peruse this forum. I am certainly not experienced enough to use your spells, yep, I feel like a noob. It's ok though, everyone starts somewhere. I'm also new to OF, so hi!

King of Long Replies says: To Akimbomoss: I've always wanted to interact with the spirit world like that, kudos for your perseverence in training. Back years ago, when books and other information like that sprang into my life from out of the woodworks, I never had the will to stick it out. Now that ...

Re: Howdy: A Country Wizard

Thanks for the great links and resources. There's quite a bit of information in just these places, so I'm busy writing down the links. I'll get to it in time, and thankfully I consider the journey as nice as the destination. [thumbup] I'm trying to understand things, but it's hard to see an effectiv...

Re: Howdy: A Country Wizard

Thanks for the clarifications, I'll remember them. Nothing in particular and everything in general is my personal way to say that I find faults in every mainstream idea, things that just seem fishy or devoid of spirit, deviated from the truth of the original masters. I still am a Buddhist in my seek...

Howdy: A Country Wizard

dRider's a bit flashy, but I've been reading Eragon lately, and couldn't resist. What's up, forum? I've always been a solitary ecclectic studying everything I could find, which is usually not much. I've been a Christian, a Buddhist, a Wiccan, a Pagan, a Christian again, a Buddhist again, and finally...

We ...

Re: No Spiritual Construct/Matrix

I see what you mean dodaive and agree with you. I was merely saying that while belief systems of any sort can enlighten the believer, they seem to limit one's perception in many areas of life. I've read in the book, The Strong Eye of Shamanism , that shamans themselves see any given otherside matrix...

No Spiritual Construct/Matrix

I can't call myself extremely knowledgable about different religions, spiritualities and other constructs through which to view the world. However, I've read a fair bit and heard even more from others, themselves. Of all the things I've heard and read, nothing seems real. Mormons say that their foun...
