Re: Why do the spirits of those murdered so rarely revenge?

...Well I guess we have to look at what happens to a murderer. 99% of the time they get caught, go to prison and experience what women fear might happen for walking on the wrong street (to put it lightly), ... Those are two popular misconceptions. First, the police would love to have a 99% rate of ...

Re: Why do the spirits of those murdered so rarely revenge?

I don't think it's logical to assume murdered people would want revenge. First of all, we don't know the effect death has on us. I'd say a person who dies realizes that in a grand scheme of things, there's really no need for revenge. Another thing is, you don't really know if someone has taken reven...

Re: Herbal Remedy for Coughing

I read it could be dangerous, but there are also people claiming they use it their entire life and have only positive outcome. My grandparents are also among those 'only positive outcome folks'. Me as well, I've been using it for more than 20 - not regularly, mind you. It's best to avoid comfrey (or...

Re: Herbal Remedy for Coughing

My grandma is making homemade mixture that really helped me clear sinuses and relieve throat/nose problems (keep in mind I don't have asthma, but I do have a lot of problems with allergies). This stuff worked great and even tho I don't get so often sick as before, I still keep some of it in fridge, ...

Re: Necromancy Danger

I don't think the vast majority of them know anything more dead than they did alive. This reminds me of a doubt I had for a long time. Can dead learn and/or increase their knowledge? Can they attain new information, new memories and then use them accordingly? Or the learning process itself is reser...

Evolution of consciousness

There's this 18 minute interview from 70's with Itzhak Bentov ("... scientist, inventor, mystic and author.") about evolution of consciousness. Thought it may be interesting to share here. What I find interesting is his explanation of 'meditative techniques from East'. As he says, it's a s...

Nice job. :)

One question - does something gets weird between W-Z?
Everything from A until V felt right, but last five letters sound as if order is mixed up or something. Perhaps it's just me, but it sounds different. ???

Re: Conserving the body after death

My line of thinking is to make myself 'useful' after death. There's this custom somewhere near TIbet where a guy chops dead bodies with an axe and then feeds the vultures. There's also organ donation. And there's that old sea burial where you literally become food for fish. I'm still not sure what t...

Hey Doc, welcome to the forum.

Is it ok if I ask you to tell us more about your scientific background? I mean what is it - chemistry, mathematics, medicine...? Just curios. [grin]

Re: The White Dog Encounter, first draft

No need to be sorry lol. It's just that it's hard (or for me, impossible) to comment on just part of story without reading the whole thing. It's similar to seeing only small part of a movie.

When you post the whole thing I'll be glad to share my thoughts. [thumbup]

Re: Writing tips and tricks

Hey Tiaden, nice blog you got there. Wlll keep a track of it. [thumbup] My biggest tip really is to wait until you're inspired. There's all of this advice to write every day, to force it, to ignore writers block etc etc. That's utter BS as far as I'm concerned. I can tell a writer who did that a mil...

Bringing objects from shamanic journeys into physical world

What are your experiences in bringing objects from journeys to physical world? I've only traveled to lower world so far. Once I brought back some sort of sigil that was inside of me for 3 days (note: I'm not sure 'sigil' is the right word for it. It was a big object shaped like a strange rune inside...

Re: Writing tips and tricks

There's this technique I figured out that works for me, so maybe it'll also work for someone else. Basically, when you're just about to fall asleep, you should work (think) in direction of whatever it is you want to write about. Fiction, an article, an essay... whatever. It's a time/place where drea...

Re: What big question would ask an Omnipotent being?

So if there was any "big" question you could ask to an all-knowing entity, what would it be? Are there others like You? What was before Big Bang (if that theory is correct anyway)? What lies beyond the boundaries (if there are boundaries) of the universe? Am I You? Do You have a question ...

New member on board

Hello everyone, it feels nice to write my first post. I like this community so far, and am looking forward to spend some quality time on these boards. About me, in short; I'm from Croatia, small country in Southern Europe, almost 30, and I'm making my living as a screenwriter (daily soap operas). My...
