Re: Why has no one mentioned ...
I think that pursuing immortality is, put bluntly, a waste of time. No one in record has ever achieved it [. . .] If 'Immortality' is simply the continuation of one consciousness after a great spiritual transformation, then this is what the so-called 'Ascended Masters' have achieved. Jesus and Sain...

Re: Where can I start with?
I would start by reading Francis Bacon's Novum Organum Scientiarum (or, The New Instrument of Science). The general idea behind the book is that it teaches a method of Induction towards Discovery as opposed to the standard model of Deduction towards Understanding. Both are good, but if you're lookin...

Kool stuff.
One of my favorites is The Mysticism of Sound and Music by Hazrat Inayat Khan.
Definitely expands on these ideas

If you don't keep silent, it can attract a lot of unwanted attention.

Re: Hey there
Very bluntly spoken: The philosophers gold would be the ultimate goal of the spiritual oriented alchemy one can archieve: The union with god/cosmos. Apotheosis. I resonate with that definition. Understanding the Gold of the Philosophers is important, but IMHO, an understanding of the development of...

Re: Hey there
Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes :) Hi corvidus, nice to meet you. Are you after the philosophers gold as well? I was (or at least I might have been), but after having a very enlightening Truffles experience, I'm now after something much more Universal :) Isn't that philosopher's stone? [rofl] ...

Re: It feels like my life is over.
Hey there :) I'm fairly new here but I feel the same way most of the time. All I can offer is an explanation of what's going on... First of all, I'm no therapist. But I've been through this before and this is how I've delt with it. alchemically it's called the Black Phase, which is incredibly necess...

Re: The 7 Steps of Alchemy as related to the Tarot
Been trying to connect some dots lately. Trying to connect The Wheel of Fortune to the 7 steps somehow. Hello magari :) I assume you're talking about the processes of Calcination, Dissolution, Separation, Conjunction, Fermentation, Distillation and Coagulation? I'm not too familiar with the Tarot (...
