Re: what are your thoughts on psionics ala uncle chuckie

"Galactic Federation of Light and Rainbows" hehehe, that sort of vibe is all too common. Whether it's aliens, or mysticism, or religion, or magical practice, etc. When people start talking and add a great deal of narrative detail... it kinda gets painfully obvious they're just masturbatin...

Re: what are your thoughts on psionics ala uncle chuckie

I don't believe that, I heard the stories though, I just never personally met anyone like that. I've seen or interacted with entities of "extraterrestrial origins", well in some sense almost any entity/spirit out there could qualify as "extraterrestrial", but some are a bit more...

Re: what are your thoughts on psionics ala uncle chuckie

Still, the spiritual scientist is always looking for experimental protocols for testing propositions. An important step is recognizing that "truth" is a reification. The quality of being true (to some reference) is turned into a noun, independent of context. Once that is recognized, any s...

Re: The Psychonaut Field Manual Pocket Edition

Probably not gonna last though, but at least few more days.. sure it can last, hehe very thoughtful and well considered words there too. You may call it the attitude of a brute, but it's well reasoned. PS: a couple posts above I quote Amor, but accidentally quoted as Cerberus. I was splitting a com...

Re: Dream recall 101

Not sure I understood the that grid bit, you mean people are unhappy when they internally blame them selves for everything yet feel like they have no control over anything externally? Ya. the grid was just a way to visualize it. But a high sense of external control, authority, agency, etc. mingled ...

Re: Dream recall 101

I think people with shorter memory enjoy life a bit more, a bit happier. happiness is largely a decision if you hope for circumstance to 'make' you happy, you're in for a rough ride. Even if you're extraordinarily lucky for a prolonged period of time, it will only spoil you, leaving you harder to m...

Re: The Psychonaut Field Manual Pocket Edition

In the mind control domain, it is common to use trauma to split the mind into separate entities and train each entity for specific duties. very rudimentary, but yeah. I suppose if you think of it as a spy game, you could liken it to turning an asset 'on the inside'. The MKultra special. The mind is...

Re: The Psychonaut Field Manual Pocket Edition

Because from my experience we all tend to overestimate our selves, at some point. And because in my gnosis, a human mind is just a machine, like a computer, and just like a computer is not always able to tell it is infected by some "malware" so is the human mind. Just as computer can begi...

Re: what are your thoughts on psionics ala uncle chuckie

After a while it was discovered that a radionics machine was not necessary. The wiring diagram on a piece of paper worked just as well. Of course when I found out about that, I did not bother with the wiring diagram either - just using numbers, colors, concepts and intent. If that's broadly true fo...

Re: Dream recall 101

Well, our patrons tend to have more "mass" and ticker skin, than many of slightly "smaller" spirits and entities, so those are not as sensitive. But I try be considered even when I talk about and with them, because as far as I'm aware, even if they are not as sensitive, they ten...

Re: The Psychonaut Field Manual Pocket Edition

why would it be hypothetical?

You seem pretty dead set on the idea that it would make me stranger, and not the other way around.
which is not necessarily a sound assumption in my view.

Anyway, I'm just curious. it sounds interesting.

If you think of paradigms as framing ideas which surround and warp a perception of reality in various ways ...and if you think of paradigm shift as a very useful thing in the ways it illuminates the lenses which shape our perception ...then the more removed the paradigm (from the commonly known), t...

Re: Using a single tool or index finger for all rituals?

Yeah, well.. I'm not too sure. When I started "heading out", for "real", in a sense not like just mediation, LD etc, but when I finally got to states where "more real" would be.. well "not being physically alive at all". At that point I began noticing some od...

Re: what are your thoughts on psionics ala uncle chuckie

Never heard of it. Did someone took some ancient concept (or couple of those), threw a bucketful of glitter and glamour, sprinkled of some conspiracy theories on top for a good measure, slapped new and trendier label on it, and made a decent buck of it, again? Right now I did took a sniff of it, by...

What makes you think it was only one and the same claw, or that those belonged to one and the same owner? Maybe it was one dude hiding and trying to get a lock repeatedly, maybe there was one dude with a hundred claws trying again and again with a different claw, maybe there were an entire army of ...

Oh I didn't get the reference. Next time you should use whiskey, that does associate with fun for me. My relationship with food is much more transactional, professional, business-like, there is no fun. Consumption of dead matter or it's by-product and derivatives - only necessary nuisance. things uh, i mean, I'm sure it varies. what's the underlying, deepest, most truthful reason, why you used the words you did? I described an entity i know in a less than respectful fashion, and it did seem to hurt his(it's?) feelings kinda. So i get your vibe here. I would only ever call my patron a...

I don't remember ever having cotton candy it's just air with strands of flavored sugar which shrink into something sweet on the moisture of the tongue. Kind of a novel sensation, but not a flavor worth writing home about. I just associate the smell of cotton candy, funnel cakes, beer, and smoked sa...

nicotine itself is only very slightly poisonous. it's just that it's highly addictive, and there are other chemicals, far more poisonous, inherent to the most popular delivery systems.

"chaos magick" as a term is 90% half marketing. It just sounds cool.

There are chaotic elements to it, but it is not definitively a mancy of working with elemental chaos.
