Re: What makes Practicioners believe in limitations
The other issue is assuming that Existence experiences time. I might assert that beyond humanity it is common to experience/observe all stages of a being's life cycle simultaneously. Thus the planetary spirit is perceived as being in all stages of its life cycle at once. Time paths still exist but ...

Re: What makes Practicioners believe in limitations
It seems that the soul is not too impressed by the allocated personality and therefore runs a bunch of personalities hoping that one will turn out ok. This reminded me, I've had a lot of moments when I think of the evidence for lower and higher genius, and it brings me right back to the 'by mail' (...

Re: What makes Practicioners believe in limitations
It seems to me that humans that cannot control their physical desires are very easily manipulated. TV ads are an obvious example. I've been watching our political isht-show in the US for a while and listening a fair amount to Daniel Schmachtenberger among others on the issue of multii-polar traps a...

Re: What makes Practicioners believe in limitations
For spiritual science the key skill is rising on the planes. Thus the spiritual scientist, when meeting another intelligence, moves up and down the planes to match his/her energy frequency with that of the other entity. Thus the scientist is using pairwise comparison as the first technique. Having ...

Re: What makes Practicioners believe in limitations
That's got a good dose of TOE 'strapping cosmology' flavor. Do you think any major writers have done better than Steiner or Blavatski on those models? I remember being really interested, or at least just having my mind opened to possibilities, when I read Steiner's 'Outline of the Occult Sciences' b...

Re: What makes Practicioners believe in limitations
A minority of Earth humans are properly called to the dark path. That is not about personal power but the desire of the Source of All to grasp matter more closely in this galaxy. Given the upper limit on that path, it seems that the rightful practitioners are sacrificing their own advancement to su...

Getting through COVID and cultural changes
Really beautiful solo show by Gordon on the topic, not just on COVID but the myth of violence, solutionism, etc.. He typically brings good perspective to the table on these things and this is a great instance of that.

Re: Metaphysically understanding the destruction of people
BTW, I wanted to say something - excellent and beautifully thought-out replies in all cases. I had a kiss of similar trauma hit me again this summer, you could say that I was working over 100 hours per week for two months with no guarantee that my future wasn't going to be mangled by idiots complete...

Re: 'The Case Against Reality'
It's the kind of thing I'd love to hear someone like Josephine McCarthy or Jake Stratton-Kent comment on because in a lot of ways it does a lot to mathematically edify what's happening with respect to energy in nature, 'portals' of communication to other forms of consciousness, etc.. A lot of this s...

Re: "Occult" Music Sharing;
New format I guess, you have to crop everything before and including the equal sign then, if you have a time signature, clip that equals sign and everything after that.

Re: Occult movies
David Lynch's Eraserhead.
It's got some pretty deep symbolism and shows that he had a grasp on some concepts that probably weren't well known in the late 1970's. It's about as overt has he's gotten since and even with Twin Peaks it was a bit more veiled / abstracted.

'The Case Against Reality'
Full topic: The Case Against Reality: How Evolution Hid the Truth from Our Eyes Anyone else checked this one out? I ask because I spent quite a while, probably a lot longer than most sane people would, trying to chase down an accurate map or cosmology and I really think he's nailed the ground level ...

Re: Energetic progress
Programming is very demanding. I started doing it as a hobby back just prior to 2000. I was at a local computer repair shop one day and the topic of CGI(common gateway interface) came up and the guy asked me if I knew anything about it. I stretched the truth a bit and told him I could do it. I lear...

Energetic progress
Admittedly I've been through a fair amount of trauma with work/trade in the past few years. I was starting to think it would be the death of my vibrant relationship with this and really just building myself into a battering ram to survive the conformist psychopath competition that is today's IT and ...

Re: Mainstream occult ideas that you consider really pernicious?
I was watching a discussion Daniel Schmachtenberger had with Stoa a couple days ago and he pretty much nailed something that I've seen for a while - ie. that we live in a world defined by, really perpetually held hostage by, what he referred to as multipolar traps which are an analysis of arms races...

Re: Mainstream occult ideas that you consider really pernicious?
To add, it poses the question as well - ie. how did any of us end up as practitioners or even researchers in this area? I think a lot of us looked around at the game that was on offer, saw it completely corrosive to any degree of self-development or discovery, it's a world that essentially tries to ...
