Re: How long leave an Offering on Altar before eating it?

i was watching a video of one hindu sahdu and he was indicating that people in hinduism eat offerings after putting it out on their altar. am i in trouble for doing this? No, I wouldn't think so at all. In fact, you could think of it as sharing the meal with whoever it is you work with. The Hindus ...

We return ours to the Earth via compost, if that's any more helpful.
Also, if the offering of meat you leave out starts looking green or takes on a rainbow hue, I wouldn't eat it. [greensmile]

Doesn't that kind of depend upon what Path you follow, and who the deity is?

Re: How to get into a deeper trance

At the moment, when I do shamanic journeys, the journeys feels somewhat like thoughts. I wonder how I can get into a deeper trance state, that the journey maybe feels more like a dream or even realistic. Are there any tips how to achieve deeper trance? I know it is training and practice, but the qu...

Lower your dosage.
You're not looking to trip on the Shrooms, you're looking to loosen your consciousness up enough to separate.

Hello, and welcome to the OF.

Intereting first posts.
Totally down with the whole waking up the chakras thing, but I was wondering if you could elaborate on the spinning it with your finger part.

Well, Howdy! I'm a Virgo male with a superfluous third nipple, and a really well organized sock drawer. [eek] I also have a Wife and kids so don't get any bright ideas! My advice to you is don't buy a freakin' thing, and don't put oil on a deck of cards. Go read about Tarot, if that's what you're in...

Re: Candle holder breaks while hexing?

Anyways, when the candle was almost out, the glass just broke off like it was blown up. My grandma is freaked out... I need to know if the glass of the candle holder was just weak or if maybe the magic was strong? I had this happen at the dinner table a couple of weeks ago, in a non-magical context...

Re: Michael W Ford

He's definitely very big on practically plagiarizing Andrew Chumbley's written works and even the art in his earlier books reeks of Azoetia illustrations. I personally find his system to be lacking in both originality and profundity. He tends to interpret pantheons according to his own 'adversarial...

I am trying to take a first step into the world of the unknown, the occult, curious to know what is there yet making false assumptions in my mind since I like most people have been conditioned. Yes I don't know what I'm getting into, but I do wish if someone could tell me. In the beginning, I was c...

Re: Michael W Ford

I guess my issue with Ford's making stuff up is that there doesn't seem to be much of a point to it, nor does he mention when he does make stuff up or gets it from another source. Where I come from that's akin to plagiarism. I have several books of Frod's kicking about, but I've only dipped in here...

Re: Bringing positivity into the minds of others~ need assis

You can't lead a horse to water and the mere mention of it compounds the matter to the extreme. Questioning one's mental health opens all kinds of stigmas so thats out. I've been quite open about it with her but it may come down certain character differences that have no easy resolutions either way...
