android problems

This forum has issue displaying on android devices. (the two I have) it cuts off content partways down, so you can't scroll to the bottom of the main page or even far enough to hit submit reply. Works fine on webOS.

I have a friend who's been asking about mobile connectivity too,recently.I am clueless about phone tech and internet/phone issues,so I hope Vashta can help,as it may help others also.

I don't have any experience with android, but I know that the if the iPhone had this problem, it would be very easy to solve, just download a different browser. Most all forums are published in php. Actually the Safari browser does a good job, and should be available for Android.

Even opera on Android doesnt fix the issue, but that is because software wise, even if you download a browser on Android it is still using the original engine backend, you are just changing the front end when you use stuff like Opera.

It's a problem with Android in general it doesnt matter if you are using Opera or built-in browser and I've tried it on multiple devices (with different software versions). It is some issue with Android is all I can narrow it down too.

No I havent, it has something to do with how the page only loads a bit into memory though. Like it doesn't recognize you scrolling to the bottom to load further. I still can't post from my phone, but if I click on the link at the top of every post it loads the next post below it.

I usually browse on my Android phone (using Opera), and I've noticed that if I allow the page to completely load and then zoom in, even just a little bit, it lets me scroll the whole page for some reason. Hope that helps.

sorry for the delay getting back to you, I've looked into this and I believe it's a stylesheet related issue, I've added browser detection and a new stylesheet for mobile browsers, which I think should sort it, unfortunately I don't seem to get the same problem when I browse from my phone (android 2.3.4 default browser) so I can't confirm if it's worked, please let me know, thanks for your patience.
