How do you draw down the moon?
Hello, and welcome to the Forum.
"Drawing Down The Moon" is an important Wiccan ritual wherein the High Priestess, with the aid of her High Priest, invokes --that is, draws into herself-- the Energy[ies] that are the Goddess/Triple Goddess/Earth Mother, what have you. Once invoked, the High Priestess may then act as Oracle or Healer, or the like; or, the ritual may be used as a preparatory step toward conducting the Great Rite.
"Drawing Down The Moon," is also the title of a book by a woman named Margot Adler, which is actually a good 101-level book about the history of the neo-pagan movement in North America.
