Agnostic Theist.

I believe in a Supreme Intelligence, God, so I guess that makes me a Theist. But I don't claim to know anything for certain about the properties of the Creator, which remains a complete mystery to me, so there's obviously some agnosticism there.

I'd have to say I oscillate between panentheistic monism and reductive materialism with deep reverence toward the primacy and import of subjective experience. At least at this point of my life you could ask me every four months what I think on this and my answer each time would be slightly different. :)

The Occult and magickal practices are not solely reliant or dependent on religious belief sets, that is how.

IMMV, of course...And concepts are expandable in light of new information, just like any other constructed variable. [grin]

That is a form of agnosticism by definition. For me, personally, all I know is that I strongly believe in a Supreme Mind but I can't quite pin down what that Higher Power really is, what are it's attributes. I honestly think a full grasp of God is beyond reason, intuition and the human intellect. Hence, 'agnostic theism' is the only term I can come up with at this point.

Panentheist, here. The world is a figment of someone else's imagination. Fortunately for us all, that imagination is vast and varied :-)

I see PanENtheism as a reconciliation between western theology and eastern philosophy and so compatible with a broad range of occult ideas. It maintains the notion of a Creator like Classical theism but in panENtheism, God permeates all the Universe. He is the driving force within and behind nature, the Higher Reality that gives life a purpose. We might even say that we are ''in God'', as in a Body.

28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’

-Acts 17:28, Paul Before the Areopagus.

Agnostic atheist I guess...I don't believe in a creator or any entities that are above me or should be worshiped in any form but I'm not an all-knowing creature myself so maybe...just maybe...

Good.

As an occultist - that is great big step, atheism.

Have you youtube'd this out of curiosity yet?
|
"What is the origin of religion?".

The answer is clear: "Astronomy".

The Origin of Religion (part 1):
All the messiahs that were written about - are not actual people,
But the sun in outerspace/heaven.

I have been through the motions,
But not all...

I was an atheist too...

But now I believe that there may not be a god that is portrayed by the christian and muslim religion,
But that at least maybe that perhaps... There is something that could be considered as a god?

I believe that the universe we live in is the subconscious mind of a creature or living being that I cannot figure out what it is - not unless I observe his/her/it's neural structures/galaxy clusters and try to connect the two by signsture resemblances from our brain and the observable universe.

I am guessing that if the host we live in is a "living thingy" of some sort - then it must have a conscious mind that is busy with a world outstide of his/her/its subconscious dream fabricated universe.

This living thingy must have procreation tools as well.

So that when we die,
We get transferred into a sperm cell within this creature,
And our new goal is to survive and grow again into another whole new world.

Essentially - this goes on forever - outward and inward.

As above so below... Right?

Then perhaps we also are gods.

Your body is the host of your inner dream world,
This dream world is your subconscious mind,
Your subconscious mind is a universe - similar to the one we live in now.

And in that universe within you,
Is your very own earth - teaming with living creatures that as a whole - represents pieces of who you are,
And the state of your health.

When ever you go to sleep and have dreams about people you've never seen,
If they see you,
They may not know you are their god/host of their reality,
Their universe,
They may not even know that they are living in a dream world,
They don't know that their universe IS a dream world.

So when you do strange supernatural things in front of them,
They freak out.

If you were lucid,
You could totally reveal yourself to them as their god,
And prove it to them by performing miracles.

Then while you are still lucid,
Leave behind clear instructions on how you want them to live,
Because if they go against your will - their horrible lifestyles may be the reason why your physical body gets sick,
Their sins cause you to weaken,
And if they don't listen,
You simply just flood those little fucks,
And then your body should stop being sick.

Rememeber when I said this type of philosophy goes on infinitely - outwards and inwards?

Well even your dream characters have the same physiological setup.
They have a brain,
They aren't just empty shells of visual light,
They are as real as you,
But within the context of your subconscious universe.

And if they have a brain,
They must possess a mind,
And if they possess a mind - they must also possess a subconscious mind,
And from there... You know where I am going with this. ;)

I also believe that these dream characters are spirits living within you.

So you see,
There is no god the way christians and muslims would have you believe,
But there definately is something that is hosting reality for us the same way we host reality for the life within us. ~
