Hi Serafan,(win)

female would(win) more naturally understand Ma Kali,as male I only have the strongest love bond attachment.
Lady Sehkmet name(win) has been trashed by the male dominants who inhabit Egypt who cannot handle how great she was(losers). In Ma Kali we have Indian sister of Lady S,completely recognised & unfettered.

(win)The rose petals she scatters as she dances for me,the great healing in the private area's of her temple are awesome, just please take care so as I never have to take you there,in love.x

The Lady S did me a great turn at my request a few years ago,I love Kali as I do her & gladly do her bidding in the vast open fields of Void aka the inky black realm of Mara.

Kinda payback for my eternal debt of gratitude Yet pleasing & rewarding to undertake,so it is a win/win/win/win/win/win situation if you take into account some of the dimensional aspects

eh,the thick bed of rose petals is not for the maiden, but for the mother.....better not be for the crone(eek)

lolz

Eh,for me & my men think dragon, even dragon combined becomes something greater.

Chant to Kali

These devotional chants are called Kirtan. Briefly from Wiki:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhajan

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kirtan

Kirtan, or Sankirtan, was popularized circa 1506 by the Bengali saint, Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. The Sanskrit word, Kirtan, means to glorify, and sanga kirtan, shortened to sankirtan, means glorification in the association of others, or the congregational singing of divine mantras using a call and response style.

The Sanskrit word, mantra, can be broken etymologically into two root words, mana which means the mind, and tra which means to deliver. Thus, a mantra has the power to deliver the mind from material consciousness or perception, to spiritual consciousness or enlightenment.

Here's a songbook of several such Kirtans. You'll find a variations of "Kali durge namo namah", but these have so few lyrics that the words themselves make up a title.

You can google, Kirtan and Bhajan, and you might find some more tracks.

Jai mata kali namo nama Jai mata durge namo nama
Kali Durge namo nama

Victory to mother Kali, salutations again and again. Victory to mother Durga, salutations again and again. Kali Durga, salutations again and again.
'
Kali and Durga are 2 important goddesses in Bengal and I suspect that this is a Bengali hymn although the words are Sanskrit. If you are fascinated by these goddesses, read the Devi Mahatmyam, (also called the Chandi) which relates the major mythology related to these goddesses. The goddesses slay demons--but the demons names translate as human vices and failings.

The name Kali first appears as one of the 7 sacred flames of the Agni Hotra rite and is said to mean "smokey" in some passage from the Vedas or an Upanishad (I can't remember which one) Durga appears early on as a name of the Goddess. Kali (or kala, specifically) is generally translated as "time" and the meaning of Kali is "She Who Turns All Forms to Ashes." Though Kali is Nature (the energy that potentiates consciousness and makes it creative rather than quiescent) she also represents the life cycle and the illusory nature of the ego-self and of manifestation. Durga means "difficult," implying difficult to approach as in traversing from one place to another. The name is translated to mean either "She who is difficult to attain access to." or more popularly "She Who Removes Difficulties." In the Devi Mahatmyam she is described as the manifestation of the combined power of the gods. In her mythology, she slays demons to restore the order of the universe. She is often depicted slaying a water buffalo from which emerges an ogre. Mahishasura (the buffalo-demon) represents the great ego.

The sword of discrimination, club of articulation, bow of determination, arrow of penetration, pike of attention, rod of restraint, axe of right action, net of unity, trident of harmony, and discus of revolving time. With these weapons wielded in the 10 arms of Ma Durga, the adept slays the mighty host of demons within himself or herself. As for Kali, one hand gestures "Fear not" another grants boons, one holds the sword of discrimination, the other holds your decapitated demon head.
