Hello everyone.
Very recently (about one year) whenever I meditate, my body starts moving by itself, as if I was in a rocking chair. Perhaps the movement could be compared to what happens to a person with autism.
Does anyone have an idea of why this could be happening?
Thank You!
Ilarus

I get trembling when I do Kundalini meditation.
This, too, shall pass.

93,
If you are aware of it, it is breaking your concentration and is a hindrance. If not, and you know about it from others, it could also be seen as a sort of kink to be worked out. That being said, the slowing of your body and adjusting to your slower breathing rhythm could be affecting movements to make you sway slightly.

I've read vedic stuff that says to stop all movement. I've read
Taoist and Tantric works that say to either ignore it or to enjoy it.
What kind of meditation?
Does it feel magnetic? Electrical? Warm? Cold? Soft? Hard?

It depends. If the movement is intentional, i.e. change of breathing or heartbeat, then it should be enjoyed. If it is unintentional and unwanted, it should be ignored.
The fact is that ignoring is often the only way to stop it, since focusing on it usually makes it worse.
