Kali's Primordial Ocean of Blood?

Post by SerpensCultus »

There have been a plethora of websites which describe this "primordial ocean of blood" as Kali before the beginning of all and after its dissolution. Being that I have invested a lot of my time in this, I feel that I should know better. Is this something legitimate? Does it have a name in which one would be able to find more information on it? Or am I really none the wiser?

Kali is a destructive aspect of Lord Shiva. It is important to note that these forms, like Agora, are not empty destruction like we would think of something demonic, but are really regeneration.
Much of this language is poetic and I personally don't believe it should be treated in the way Christians or Orthodox Jews would the book of Genesis.
