I've practiced it on and off, it's excellent if you can find a good teacher who practices a legitimate system, but too problematic trying to learn out of books or DVD"s.

Dunno, with around 17 years of martial arts practice, the version my father and I learned from a book has proven to be very effective, whatever my detractors may say.
