Is there a method for identifying/measuring the connections provided by various tarot decks?

For example, an adverse entity might devise a set of images that lead to itself rather than the more traditional tarot source.

I think same way like you would identify/measure connections to anything else. A book, an artwork, anything else.
Focus on it, feel all the energies in and around it, and then meditate on it trying to follow all the scents and all the threads where those possibly lead. Although many times it can have many connection, the creator, his/her deities, what he was focusing on while he was doing the work, even your own connection simply triggered by something within that work, a whole spectrum of possible connections. So it might take some effort to properly map it.
