To keep an animal safe

This is good if you have cats that like roaming free, it is a protection spell for your furry companion.

Take one brown candle, light it and sit before it for a while, imagine your cat or other animal and see a white protective circle around it. Say:

Moder Goddess and Father God,
I have a boon to ask of You,
There is a four legged one,
That have my love and caring won,
I ask You both to protect my pet,
Keep Him/her safe and well,
Bless him/her with Your watchful eye,
And bring him/her always home to me,
This is what I ask, Blessed Be.

Whisper thanks to the Gods and let the candle stand where it can burn safely down. Repeat every time you feel worried for your pet. I have also been given the idea of placing the candle in a window to be a guiding light for your pet to come home from somone I chat with on a forum, so that is a variant to letting the candle burn down on the altar.
