How do I perform evocation?

Post by Darabow »

I'm new to the occult and have mostly been only to make sigils but I've done some successfully.
Could someone please tell me how to evoke? I would like to try Hermes first.
Thank you.

If you have to ask, you are not ready to do it.
I recommend going back to the beginners book list and start over.

If you're interested in Hermes, you could also add Corpus Hermetica to the list.
It's where I found out he had a son named "Tat" lol.

That's a different Hermes.
Kinda.

But you should still read that book anyway.

I guess it's typical for people new to the occult to want to tackle the coolest, most bad ass stuff right out of the gate. You can dabble around with that stuff and when you're ready for real progress I recommend starting with the basics. There are plenty of resources for that, including a great thread here.
