Cardinal Directions/Correspondences
I am having quite a difficult time finding proper cardinal directions in regards to everything, specifically planets and the moon. I am not currently in possession of books that have this basic information, (nor can I at this moment acquire them yet due to lack of funds, and places where you can find pdfs don't have such a list). I am for example trying to find the correct correspondences to the moon when it is full, I've read varying accounts of North vs South, or even some other system altogether. There is no consensus that I can find but I know this is quite basic stuff. What are the proper correspondences, and where are their sources?

Re: Cardinal Directions/Correspondences
The sun and moon move across the sky in an east-west plane. In other words when they are not aligned (a new moon) then they are roughly either east or west of each other. Since the moon reflects the sun's light, its bright side will be 'pointing' to the direction of the sun, ie. approximately east or west.solace_of_shadows wrote:I am having quite a difficult time finding proper cardinal directions in regards to everything, specifically planets and the moon.
