As the arm of the magician rises and waves the wand of his will, he utters the holy name of those who observe and casts his desire onto the hearts of man.

"Let loose these bonds that blind."

Raising the cup, the magician gathers the blood of the Saints as it falls round, an invisible dew that penetrates matter.

"I drink of this cup, for the sake of all."

The magician reaches for his dagger and cuts his palm to test the sharpness of his mind. It is no longer the blunt and misused thing that it once was. It is sharp and quick, and it cuts deeply.

As he stares onto the pentacle he prepares...
