What can folks tell me about Lamia beyond what I can glean from Wikipedia? Is she Goetic? Would it be unusual for her to present as a faceless woman -- that is, appearing ordinary except without nose, eyes, ears, or hair, and with just a slit for a mouth? And would she in any way be associated with a grey cat? What is her nature as an entity, and what is her sphere of influence? What I've read about her paints her as vicious and predatory, possibly insane. Would it be odd for her to present as overtly friendly and affectionate? Thanks in advance for any information folks can provide, or for any sources to which you can refer me.

From what I know Lamia are snake hybrids. Maybe they suffer from lycanthropy but are snakes instead of the common wolf etc.
