Peacock Spiders
Peacock Spiders
Apparently, there is a type of spider called the, Peacock Spider. Go throw that name into an image search. I could swear I've seen the symbols on some of those spiders in indiginous type stuff.

Re: Peacock Spiders
Well, they are naturally formed patterns, and indigenous stuff is usually representation of naturally formed things.
If you simplify a great Turner painting you end up with squiggly lines and some colors. And our brains are extremely good at imagining a great landscape in squiggly lines and color. That's why people see Jesus face in everything from potatoes to toast.

Re: Peacock Spiders
They're cute wee things and very hyper active. They have beardy faces too. I had to get some pics of them...

Yeah, and it seems like I've seen those like on African shields or something. Or maybe Australian/Aborignee, since they're in Australia. I also never noticed they had beards, or that they were so small.
And and......that last one, with the positioning of the legs and all...kinda like an Ancient Egyptian, errr...well, those things on their heads on the wall paintings. Don't know what their called, but... ( O )
And, thanks, Nehemah!

Yeh, the wee guy in the fourth pic, looks like the Solar disc/ horned crown.
The markings and colours are amazing, aren't they?
They are wee Shamanic spiders indeed. Very interesting.
