Chanting Workshop?
It's Friday night and I 'm feeling mellow.So,I had a thought.
How novel, lol, must be the Absinthe again. [tongue]
...I was wondering, given that the art of Canting is a pivotal part of my Magickal practices: re:Galdr singing and other Runic work relating to vocalisations,if anyone would be interested in a group workshop based on this?
I'd like it to cover various styles and forms of giving voice, from Gregorian plainsong to Galdr and most cultures inbetween etc ...[too many for my lazy fingers to type out here],so not just from a Northern perspective.
I am pushed for time, atm, but if there is interest, let me know here and I 'll get on it as soon as I can, input from any and all who use Vocalisation in their work is very welcome also. [thumbup]

I is interested... Has anything happened with this??
Pull your fucking head out of the clouds and remember why you are here
Re: Chanting Workshop?
I might be interested in this. I don't know anything, but my magickal learning/advancement/practice has pretty much come to a standstill. Might be good to learn something new.

Re: Chanting Workshop?
There wasn't much interest ,so I didn't post anything further and since January I've gotten busier and in all honesty,I had forgotten about this topic.
If a few more folk muster for it,then maybe we'll have something to get started with.
I use my voice a lot and though,I 'm not a great singer,I do know of techniques which promote and strengthen vocalisation, etc. For me,this relates to vibrational magick, energy work and trance induction.
One thing I will not do,is post my voice online,so be aware of that, lol.I don't chant as I speak, thankfully, as a Broad Glaswegian Accent tends to confuse in the Astral. [rofl]
I also find the history of magickal enchantment fascinating, but I 'll try not to over emphasise on that, though it has great relevance when you think about it,all Church and Temple acoustics, grace notes and so on....

What is the desired effect of this? Will my fetch react to it?
