Study the Occult as a career?

Does anyone know what kind of career one get follow, studying the occult, otherwise partially?
I know one can't pay all his dues while being a Tarot specialist, but I was looking at it from a wider angle.
I love reading and watching videos and talking about occult stuff and stories from the bible.
Ans since a while I have been wondering if there's any possible way to earn some money with it, preferably a job for 40 hours a week.

I have never heard of a fix job as a occultist, but I am open for any example [crazy]

- Many make their way as authors, but it is rare that they can live from it as far as I know because the market for serious literature is not that big.
- There are also many artists in this field, but of course again it depends on your reputation if you can live from that or not.
- You can as well open a school or a brotherhood and charge members for being part of it. Depending on reputation and the intelligence of people that might work out.
- You could open a shop (btw. the only possibility where I could imagine a fixed job opportunity....).
- Become a wonder allrounder, fulfilling "miracles" always brings cash (or kids, if your name is Abraham).
- You could go to university and study a field which is related to your interest (like theology, philosophy, history or whatever else there is) and make your way in that field.
- If you are good with herbs, you may work in a field related to plants.

So far those are the possibilities which came to my mind, maybe someone else has an idea as well.

You mentioned reading the bible. Why not start a church. Christians have been known to part with their money fairly easily and are certainly gullible. The occult is like the arts in that one usually pursues it for the love of it as opposed to the lure of coin. Consider brushing up on your skills if you want to consider writing though. You really need to improve if you want to be taken seriously by publishers and clients. That is unless you have some really significant occult gifts. Clear communication is as important as the message. If you are looking to make money, I would urge you to consider a different venue. Many schools have career counselor. Check in with them to examine your options.

Christian healer.

Priest.

Tarot card reading or any divination through phone.

Medium.

Hypnotherapy.

Some other new age medicine stuff. ear candles or aromatherapist.

Then combine that with a book or two, a youtube channel and maybe a podcast.

You could always open a good book store filled with limited addition prints, have a work room connected with it, and host some ongoing classes with people who really know their stuff.

There's also transpersonal psychology and becoming a psychologist for people specifically on the magical path, ie. one whose well versed in the hazard zones of individuation who can help belay them through it.

An internet search will provide numerous university degrees in Anthropology, some including occult and related studies. Follow any of the other suggestions as you earn your degree and get yourself a teaching position. It will not get you rich but it is reasonable pay for doing something you love while you maintain a more profitable enterprise on the side. Be aware that any form of therapy or therapeutic counseling will require accreditation or a degree to practice legally.
