I should probably say hello, yes?

Post by Dok »

Hey everyone,

I stumbled upon this site a while back while researching Gnosticism. I ended up looking up the site a few weeks ago as I was looking for lists of reading material. The more I looked around, I figured it would be a great place to hang out and all that. I've been researching religion for a while now, trying to find my own path. And yeah, that's pretty much how I ended up here. Hopefully I don't lurk too much, as I have a knack for doing.

Well, have a good one everybody. Just figured i'd introduce myself at least.

Thanks for all the welcomes all. I actually just picked up Michael Harner's "Way of the Shaman" today from my library, all thanks to the recommendation of this forum. It's been a fun ride so far. Hopefully i'll eventually have something to contribute around here. If anything, reading about why someone needs to summon Lucifer "because rich and girlfriend" is entertaining. [rofl]

Welcome, fellow new forumer :)
Your head's like mine, like all our heads; big enough to contain every god and devil there ever was. Big enough to hold the weight of oceans and the turning stars. Whole universes fit in there! But what do we choose to keep in this miraculous cabinet? Little broken things, sad trinkets that we play with over and over. The world turns our key and we play the same little tune again and again and we think that tunes are all we are.
