Hi there people I'm a 27 year old man from Scotland and I am rather excited to be here.
I guess my interest in this kind of stuff began not long ago, perhaps 2 years ago when my Mother died. My Mother was interested in spiritualism and attended a local spiritualists church. After she was gone I found myself delving into the deep world of meditation and the Kundalini. I read and watched a lot about meditation and quickly found that these videos would not help much and that meditation is a personal journey. One day though I acquired a set of occult pdfs and within were some of the best examples of how to meditate. (I'm pretty sure it was a book about initiations into the Golden Dawn) And since then I realized that this path was the way and the technique I found in the first part of this book is one that was very dependable.
My interest in the occult is great yet I have no friends who are interested in it so hopefully here I can make some friends and share opinions and thoughts with them, though right now I am at a bit of a loss as of what to say.
I would also be looking to meet some like minded people nearby if it would be possible? But I guess we will need to see how it goes?
I'm not even exactly sure what my role would be as a magik practitioner, so could anyone give me any advice on this? It would be much appreciated. Thanks
Hello there

Welcome man. Don't worry too much about how you'll categorize yourself, you'll figure that out as you go.

Hello and thank you for the welcome, I'm not far from Glasgow, just out in Livingston actually. Good to see some folks close to home on here.
