Good evening,
I look forward to participating in this forum and trying to help where I can. My name's Matthew, and it's been quite a while since I've had a chance to practice. I had a wonderful mentor for about seven years and I ended up messing it up (I used to be a really bad friend in retrospect). She taught me a wonderful amount in regards to understanding it all and we were the yin to each others yang. Life moved on and I joined the military and married my high school sweetheart . It's been pretty rough finding time to think about practicing magic or chase ghosts since then. I'm still fairly proficient at what I was best at but I'm still really rusty. My specialties were protection and healing magic. I've touched on quite a lot of the other forms or branches, though I've never touched on any of the darker stuff or summoning.

I know what its like to have to take a break. The best comfort I can give you though is that its like riding a bike, you might get rusty but you never really forget how. Also start small, don't jump right back in where you left off thinking that the power is still there.
