Hello everyone! My name is Malogranatum. I'm a young woman from Oceania (I shan't be more specific than that, at least when posting publically), and I am getting involved in Chaos Magick and the Occult world in general. I have a passion for tarot and gnosticism, and focus particularly on Western Esotericism.
I would love to get to know you all, and love to chat, so PM me if you want. Will be posting more in future, and I hope to talk to you all soon!
Much love,
-Malogranatum

Hello , Malogranatum...
Well , considering Oceania is just a teeny bit large :
Oceania then, in its most restricted meaning, includes more than 10,000 islands, with a total land area (excluding Australia,
but including Papua New Guinea and New Zealand) of approximately 317,700 square miles (822,800 square km)... [wink]
I don't think you have much to be concerned about... [thumbup]
So , does one greet you with both a Hail Sophia , and Hail Eris , or some variant ?
What is your favorite tarot deck ?
Lonnie Scott is a friend of mine...( also known as Kaosmage )...google him and Tarot
Here , to make it easy...great guy...good heart...

He calls himself a Chaos Heathen...

Last...what facet of the Western Esoteric Tradition , fascinates you most ?

Oceania is pretty big, you're right there. But anonymity is a very sacred thing, and I would like to preserve it. If you want more specificity, I live in a country that has English as an official language. But that won't narrow it down very much!
I am very much interested in both Sophia and Eris, so they're interchangeable! To add another in the mix, I was a very traditionalist Catholic not too long ago- perhaps a "Hail Mary" is in order? [lol] I am considering leaving an offering to the Godform, Eris, for some special purpose, but I'm afraid I'll mess up or I'm not quite advanced enough. I'll get there eventually!
My favourite tarot deck is the classic Rider-Waite. The symbolism is clear, universal and the art is beautiful. I don't care much for stylistic decks, and I loathe the very tacky decks with cats, or fairies, or whatever other irreverent subject matter. But that's just my taste, each to their own.
Very interesting links, will read them soon enough. Thank you.
Lastly, the exploration of sacred geometry, and the extension of Judeo-Christian philosophy are two things that are very fascinating to me. Also, the beautiful art style, with gloriously intricate woodcuts, definitely attracts me. But don't tell anyone I'm being so shallow as to enjoy a paradigm solely for the aesthetic, hah!

decks are extremely rich with symbolism...
