As someone with PDD-NOS, I really doubt you'd get any farther with that than taking them to a Christian faith healer.
If you have someone with autism in your life about all you can do is help expedite their understanding of themselves, the world they live in, and why people behave the way they do. Past that it'll be a life-long experience, no matter how good their raw/rote social skills get or how well they 'pass' for normal they'll always be different and part of their journey of life will be attempting to find as many ways as they can to make peace with their circumstance.
