Hey,

I’m still useless at intros, some things never change, 😝.

Not a lot of active posters here.

I see you are in Glasgow. Long ago I lived for 5 years in the Moray Firth - just outside Forres.

The witches in Macbeth were near Forres. The police station is next to the stone marking where alleged witches were rolled down the hill in barrels.

Hi,

Yep, we’re never far from the history here. Good to meet you.

Is that near Cluny/ Pluscarden? I’ve been to the abbey and something is scratching in my mind about it.

I did go up the knock in Crieff and look out over towards Birman wood and Dunsinane years ago, but I’ve not been to Forres.

I lived on Cluny Hill for several years and have visited Pluscarden several times.

One side of Cluny Hill has the same profile as Glastonbury Tor including a tower at the same place. Some of the hill is artificial.
