Just as the title says I am looking for a stone that comes from a mountain and it must come from a mountain. However I don't live anywhere near mountains. A local new age store says their emerald stones come from mountains but no real way to confirm on my side. Are there any stones that 100% come from mountains anyone could recommend?

Pay someone to get it for you and mail it. I live next to a mountain. Have them take sufficient video so that you are absolutely sure the stone came from the mountain.

Good idea except IDK anyone that lives near a mountain.....
