Should I trust the PDF of The Golden Dawn??

Post by Atzmuth »

There is no Lucifer to folow, no God to obey
There is no Hell for punishment, no Heaven for reward
There are no Demons to fear, no Angels to listen
There is you and your fate
Wake up Alice
You are in Truthland.

Seems like a reasonable grimoire collection, I don't see any reason not to - but there's also not anything there that will be of much use to you until you've been practicing for a few years and are ready for evocation (except for Liber 777, which is a list of correspondences, although given the GD/Rosicrucian tendency towards extreme syncretism and a need to correspond everything with everything, you might want to take some of it with a grain of salt).
"The path of the Sage is called
'The Path of Illumination'
he who gives himself to this path
is like a block of wood
that gives itself to the chisel-
cut by cut it is honed to perfection"

- DDJ, Verse 27

"It's still magic even if you know how it's done." - Terry Pratchett

They are scanned from books. Mostly old books that don't have a clear copyright.

You can buy versions of these on amazon or Barnes & Noble. It's not exactly secret knowledge.

Grimores are usually recognized as being coded and sharing them openly poses no risk, without a good teacher, you won't understand them anyway.
