Recommended encyclopedias
Hello.
Sorry in advance if there is a similar topic but I couldn't find it.
I started buying books on the occult and I would like a lot more. The ones I like are encyclopedias and I looked some up, but I got lost in all the thousands of books.
I already got The encyclopedia of the occult by Lewis Spence and The encyclopedia of demons and demonology by Rosemary Ellen Guiley.
Any encyclopedias you would recommend?

The Element Encyclopedia of Witchcraft: The Complete A-Z for the Entire Magical World.
Encyclopedia of Mystics, Saints & Sages: A Guide to Asking for Protection, Wealth, Happiness, and Everything Else!

I know the 5000 spells one has been popular over recent years.

Another vote for Judika Illes - 5000 Spells
Also. I like The Magician's Companion by Bill Whitcomb. It's kinda lighthearted and obviously geared towards teenager but it does the job and provides reliably information on a lot of different subjects.

The Dictionary Of Demons: Names Of The Damned by Michelle Belanger
http://www.amazon.com/The-Dictionary-De ... 0738723061
Some people don't like Michelle Belanger but I think it's a thoroughly researched and well written work.
Very useful if you are into Demonology.
